Manual Race Control (For Leagues)

In dedicated servers it would be nice to be able to pre designate administrators and maybe even Split them into Race Control and Stewarding teams

This would allow for stewards to worry about incidents both on track and in pitlane deciding the penalty outcome and for those in Race Control to worry about cars that are on track to make sure the racing is safe.

Race Control would have at there disposal any and all methods of neutralising the race such as FCY SC and VSC and even Slow zones. Replicating them as close to real life as possible. It would be up to Race Control to determine the length of the SC as some would probably leave it out to allow a Pit Cycle. I know Le Mans has 3 but that can be optional to the Race Organisers.

For Example:

A Car has stopped in the gravel at Ascari and is beached, The race director decides to deploy a FCY to bring everyone down to a controlled speed as the car stuck in the gravel requests to be towed out of the gravel. Then the car removed from the gravel trap and onto a slip road before re-joining the track. Once the car has rejoined the track the race director initiates the Countdown to go back to green flag racing.

Stewards can receive reports from teams with Time stamped incidents where a teammate of the driver who wants to report the incident can go back to the time of the incident and press a report button which may ask for a reason for the report and which car it is with. When the stewards receive the report they can then click on the time stamp and see the ingame replay. Once they make their decision they choose what action they want to take either NFA, Warning, Time Penalty, DT Penalty, Stop + Time Penalty or disqualification, also stating reason from one of the options below

For example:

Car 51 has Sped entering a Slowzone however it was due to being hit from behind by car 31 who didnt speed entering the slowzone. The stewards will automatically be allerted of the speeding by the game and will be able to have a look at it themselves, as well as this someone from car 51 has reported the incident saying they were hit from behind entering the slowzone. The stewards assess the incident and decided that Car 51 will no longer recieve a Stop + 30 for speeding under a slowzone however car 31 will recieve a Stop + 60 for causing a collison entering a Slowzone. Once the Decision is made it will be passed onto Race Control to assign the penalty, All of this done ingame or able to be done through an extended client

This would add to the emersion of endurance racing and depending on the ruleset around safety cars some leagues decide it could lead to some fascinating racing. It would mean also adding features like a Tow Request and Reporting incidents ect but would also add to the emersion some leagues would go for and can make long winded endurance races fascinating
