Why the line is NOT WITHIN THE TRACK?

So you found there is a possible discrepancy between the digital data used by the track limits algorithm and the visual representation of the track on-screen.
Have a look at the Release Notes for V1.3.1.0 (Update 3, Patch 1) and you'll see that some changes to track limits for Paul Ricard were made.
There will almost certainly be others at this track (and others) so why not help to get them fixed by reporting what you have found rather going off on a rant?

got an invalid lap due to a yellow offtrack because of this. different track but same issue i guess.
since then nothing changed to monza according to the patch notes IIRC.

Strict vs Realistic track limits most likely. At some point the FL tyre wasn't contacting the track and was inside the white line, so outside the track.

This might have been triggered by the tires not touching the track while still being "inside".
Which would be a bad implementation.

The game uses the car position relative to the track centre line (with the limits also defined in that way). So sharp corners will tend to have this happen if each segment of track has the line defined as shown, rather than taking into account the length of the car.

These sorts of things will happen to some extent, because while we can look and see exactly where things are, games will always have some particular ways of measuring positions. They aren't checking pixel by pixel like we can.

(they could, and likely will/do, adjust the limits so that the above scenarios don't happen. Then someone could just as easily complain that a competitor drove off the track and didn't get any penalty, because there'll always be a little error one way or another. I guess at least in that case we could blame the replay of a remote car...)
