Why don't we have reasonable Practice sessions?

First, please forgive me for not knowing how long the session is allocated, as I don't usually use the practice server.
I believe there are two reasons why S397 is reluctant to run practice servers for extended periods. Both are simple reasons.

1, Road surface conditions
If a practice circuit has been in operation for an extended period, the condition of the rubber adhering to the surface may differ significantly from the conditions set on the race server (it may be partially saturated in addition to being completely saturated). As a result, lap times and racing lines may differ, making practice unsuitable.

2, Passage of time
The fact that the practice server has been open for an extended period means that a corresponding amount of in-game time has also passed. Naturally, the track temperature and air temperature are likely to differ significantly from the settings of the race server, so logging into the practice server is unlikely to be effective for practice.

In any case, only S397 knows the truth, so users will have no choice but to gratefully use the practice server.

Fair point, but worth bearing in mind both of those can be set to static. (realroad progression, and the time scale)

I understand that if both settings are set to static, the rubber condition will not change from what it was originally set to, but wouldn't the road surface temperature continue to rise (because the sun's position doesn't change)?

I haven't been playing Le Mans Ultimate (LMU) for long. Last month, I subscribed to RaceControl expecting access to practice servers with longer sessions, but the reality was frustrating.

I also decided to give the game a chance because a friend mentioned the reporting system. However, it only took three weeks to realize that the system provides no feedback at all. The servers are chaotic and toxic, and a RaceControl subscription only seems useful if you're focusing on championships.

LMU has been disappointing. I don’t plan on renewing my subscription, mainly due to the poor quality of the weekly races. There are too many reckless players making gross mistakes because they know the game doesn't punish unsportsmanlike behavior.

Racecontrol give you access to championship.
Outisde of championship report are only for chat abuse or intent.

if you report for anything else in daily/weekly/special event : you will not have any feedback since you made a false report

Is it getting worse lately?

The race event starts in 16 minutes and shows up in the Daily Races menu, so you think, ok, maybe I can get 15 minutes of practice out of this, but no, the Join Practice button is disabled, and when it enables, it has servers with 0:00 remaining time on them, although there are players in them. Why?!
