very long loading time to join a race

since the new update today I think I have been spent more time in a loading screen rather than a race, so basically I have 5-6 min of loading screen and it get stuck at 0% or 48%. It was working perfectly before , I have tried checking the files on steam, checked the PC ,... but it doesn't work.
I have a rx7600xt and a Ryzen 5600x

if you have any recommendations I will try them

Try disabling your VPN. Another user had his loading issue solved just by doing that. Also try verifying the integrity of your Steam files before playing. All the best!

ye I did it a few minutes ago and it seems to be working just fine thank you, disabling the VPN works, I had to go in windows setting and uncheck everything and it worked

so my friend who had the same problem, the vpn fix didn't work so I did 2 things first a went into windows setting and went into game graphics and put lmu in high performance and the 2nd thing I did was move the game files using steam to the SSD that has windows since he has 2 SSD we did that and it worked perfectly

I have a co-op buddy that had issues with LMU, specifically running all three classes at Le Mans. Any other track and race would work except that. After trying a bunch of things I advised him to do a reformat and move LMU to his OS drive and between the two it solved the problem. Not sure which worked though, the reformat or moving the game. Because of his SSD sizes a reformat was necessary anyway. Glad you got the game working for your friend!

but let me mention that at one point I was playing around with FPS limiters and the loading times got insanely long.
the FPS during load dropped to 0 as well. usually they are still jumping around 40 fps
