the new GT3 tires

Or it simply might be track condition/temperature (also ambient temperature) variations, as little as 2 degrees can make a big difference. Going out on track at the end of a 2.5h practice session will feel more planted than going out on the same track at the begining of Quali on a green or medium grip track.
Also keep in mind the change to how tyres are now not swapped to a new set when returning to garage. When you do swap them it might feel like being on ice for the first few laps, and on the wrong setup, until the new ones get to temperature, as oposed to getting back to garage, tweaking a setting and going out with the old warm ones.
I for one haven't noticed any inconsistencies on various tracks. As of the fixed setups I can't really say, except the Lexus ones were decent on all three tracks that have been so far used in the LMGT3 Fixed Championship (COTA, Bahrain, Qatar)
Been here long enough to be well aware of all those things Emilian, including having to manually select new tyres now.

As said, I’m not ruling out it being placebo effect. But a lot of people are experiencing similar things since the June 10th update, and it’s quite clear there have been many bugs introduced with it. We’ve had confirmation of wrong set ups being loaded for the Ferrari, there have been issues/bugs with track temperatures in the past, there have been weird tyre/aero bugs in the past. Any of these would correlate with things feeling inconsistent from session to session. Not saying they’re there, but there’s precedent.

One thing I have found consistent is since they’ve updated the fixed setups, they’ve felt rather boring to drive and incredibly understeery. I select the Coach Dave ones as a necessity now and tweak a few things. Even the Coach Dave ones though are hit and miss. The 296 one for Interlagos was horribly soft. Felt like driving a boat. Stiffened things up and immediately felt sharper. Yes a little bit more difficult to control, but actually felt like a race car.

Only a week to go til Version 1.0… Hope they’re ready…

^While it could be this, I’m still not ruling out the fact there could be bugs with wrong setups being loaded, tyre bugs or track conditions being bugged out from session to session. There’s unfortunately been so many new and old bugs reintroduced since the June 10th update. He’s not the only one having an inconsistent experience.
Yep, bugs could do anything 😅

I am aware of the need to swap tires...always do so and am very cognizant of the need to drive appropriately on new ones. It's not happening at race start. It's happening in the last half of the race. I still have lots of tire left and haven't abused the tires.

I do absolutely fine in the qualis on new tires.

If it's due to track/temperature changes...not sure they change that drastically from lap to lap...corner to corner?

Could it be me? Absolutely. But I have no indication of what I did wrong at the time. If I'm not pushing it, I'm simply not able to keep up. It's been a frustrating last few days for sure.

I’ve been ok with the new model overall but I jumped into the Le Mans daily over the weekend and couldn’t do one single high speed corner without crashing violently.
Is this all about track surface conditions like “Saturated” vs <the other names I forgot right ATM>?? Or maybe I got too used to LMP2 and Hypercar grip lately.

From a lot of recent experience at Le Mans I would suggest the Lexus. The BMW is quicker, but the Lexus doesn’t seem to have the sudden breakaways that the BMW sometimes has.

One info : after the latest update , is the Porche drivable in GT3 ? Lately I was using LMP2 but tonight I would like to race in Monza with GT3 . Thanks

Yes, and it's pretty brilliant to drive. As a suggestion, set your TC to half the default value and round up if needed. Leave TC cut as is, and increase TC slip to 11. It makes the car stable in slow corners. Credit for settings goes to HDeeRacing, video link here:
