Spotter

I have the setting at ‘Full’, the only remarks I get are a verbalization of the lap time I just did.
This can’t be right?
I watch videos of other people playing LMU and the spotter is yapping away, car on your right, clear, keep up the good work, great start, etc.
What settings do I need to enable to get my pit crew to be a little more chatty?
I did notice in the audio settings there is a numerical scale wherein you can adjust how many sounds are able to be reproduced at the same time.
When I first got the game, it was at a default of 256.
Now, for some reason the maximum is 255.
Could that missing sound be the spotter detail?
Kinda baffled here - unless all the other vids I am watching are people using ‘Crew Cheif’ or some side loaded app that adds spotter detail/verbiage.

Literally plug and play. You can then edit it to turn things on or off as you wish, e.g. I turn off the DRS zone beeps and other things like track limits warnings. It's actually the only add-on I use. Really easy.

Sim has a setting "Spotter" off/low/high/full. But there is not spotter.
I don't see an issue.
Ok, so let’s go back to the OP, wondering why their spotter doesn’t sound like the ones they see on other’s videos: it’s because it’s CC. Hence that is the solution.

If you want to complain about what the spotter doesn’t do, find and vote for the feature request, but expect nothing to change for a long time because CC does everything you could want so the devs are unlikely to spend a lot of time trying to achieve the same thing.

Yes I realized it was CC after the original post.
All good now, no issues.
BUT……why include a feature with option for off, low, high and full - if none of them really do anything or there is little difference between them? Seems like the toggle should be on or off, not options that suggest it is more elaborate than it actually is 🤷‍♂️😊

It's one of the legacy settings from rF2, where on ovals that setting does actually have some effect. On road courses it's laptimes only. I understand it's not on users to know that, though - you'd probably think anything in the game was deliberately put there, rather than a leftover.
