SHOW US YOUR SKINS!

Been experimenting on my Glickenhaus with fading carbon to a green. By fading red to black on the carbon region map you can change it to a colour on the base. If you don't fade to complete black it keeps the carbon surface under the colour instead of going smooth.

nice idea (y)

Thanks, I've been fading bright green to black so I can fade colour into the flake effect like on the front. The carbon effect is nice though and I'm thinking of doing more of a car like that as it looks like spray painted carbon fibre. Could do an almost black, red fill on the entire red region_map to get a full painted carbon look. The bonnet would look nice!

I was wondering if you can combine colours on the region map for multi surface combos and you totally can! Any combination of two of either red, blue or green at less than full colour. So on the RGB colour scale (0-255), anything less than 255 or it will take the full surface for itself, I find 5 on red works well as a limit for the painted carbon. If you add a third colour it will turn to a white shade and will make it a sticker shade.

So testing on the middle center wing:
Chrome (reflective) on carbon fibre (50/200 red/blue)
