Seat Pitch?

I have LMU installed 2 times. One in my office, where i test the dashes i make and one at home in my playroom, where i drine...

My problem: I really need to adjust the seat pitch and it works absolutely fine in my office (of course no whell installed) with rightShift+FOV +/- keys.

At home on my racing PC it doesnt work. This drives me crazy.

Anyone else had this issues?

Yes, sometimes it works and sometimes not. Most of the time, not for me :)
I think it needs a separate binding instead of shift + FOV. Actually, my FOV bind doesn't work much either.
Something is off in the controls in my opinion. Hopefully they will get it running smoother.

Have you try binding a macro on your keyboard (or button box if you have one) which make itself Shift+FOV+ and another one for Shift+FOV- ? Since I do it and stop using manually shift + my FOV bind, this issue disappear, hope it will work for you

So, same problem if i make makro on my keyboard.

oddly enaugh on my work pc it works. strange

Tried today "rShift+FOV" with the wheel turned off and it worked perfect.

Can anyone confirm this as an issue?

(Fanatec DD1 + McLaren V1)

Hello, I had the same problems with triple screen. The following helped me. Switch off Multiview in the options, the settings remain the same, only the tool cannot be displayed in-game. Then set the resolution to 1 monitor, FHD and apply. Then you can adjust the FOV again. Then back to triple resolution.
After that it works again with the FOV ingame. This always works for me.

I'm on triples and this did seem to get my FOV keys working again but the shift+FOV (Pitch) is very hit and miss. When it did work, it would only work for just a second and revert back to just FOV.
Also, it worked the same with the wheel off or on for me.

Same here...its like roulette when i press RShift+FOV...most of the time FOV is changed but every 10th click the pitch moved 0.1 up or down. very anoying cause i really need this to adjust the set properly.

If wheel is off it works as intended.

I found a workaround (Fanatec DD1 user).

Start the game with turned off wheel, set up your race and start it. When you are in the pit screen, go into the thar, ant adjust your seat pitch with RightShift+FOV +/- (the keys you have assigned to your FOV settings. Then turn the wheel on and enjoy the game.

After turning the wheel on, it works for a couple of minutes and then the "keeping not depressed RShift" issue apears again. If you want to change seat pitch again, you have to go in main menue, turn off your wheel and start a new race....

This is really buggy. I could not find the way to change pitch. No matter what I try it only changes fov and not pitch. Tried both shifts, tried deleting custom controls and direct input jsons. Does not work on tripples.

Could you at least put TRIPLES in your thread title.
It makes some including me think it's standard bug.
Also most people do some bugs never explain it happens only online till halfway through post, if ever.

It is a standard bug. I don't have triples and I'm affected by it. The FOV works fine, the pitch (shift+FOV) registers once per 100 clicks, sometimes not at all.

Ah okay that explains a lot :)

Well I have 1920 2560 4K and 3440 and never had a issue ever in either rF2 or LMU
Same keys same outcome 100% not 99.9% 100%
Mine registers every 0.1 up and down never changes.

Must be common denominators ? Nividia/AMD FS/ Borderless Graphics Levels ?

I just tried all classes at random tracks tilt works as prescribed.

But you can set in json okay right ?
Then for now I would make a few GME mods for the cars I drive with the different pitches and activate them as needed.
You just need to activate the right json before you start LMU.
Actually that is not a bad idea either way :)

Yes.

The better idea would be for this bug to be fixed and for the game to actually remember per car settings. Right now I have to fix my position every time I switch car.

So you just sit and click till it comes up right ?
Well if you save the json and add to GME mod and activate before you boot LMU you won't have to.

I just telling you the fastest way till they fix it.
One click on GME mod is faster then opening json and editing every time or doing the same in menu, hands down :)

I don't need hints here. I can manage myself just fine. I didn't come to this thread for hints, but to point out that this bug is not related to triples as you forcefully tried to indicate.

You mean it is a standard bug for some, created by what ?

First thing I would do...
Spare SSD, fresh OS no tools no nothing, path to existing steam, install fresh LMU
change Nothing don't add a wheel or anything else don't change any settings whatsoever
Go straight to Sebring without setting anything just click click click

Does pitch work ?

Unless you try this you have no baseline, no process of elimination
But better to spend days wishing and hoping
