Platinum safety rating – whats now? for what?

Many drivers secure a Platinum safety rating after just 50 to 60 races.
I’d say that within a few months, the majority—or simply too many drivers—will have to easily Platinum status.
What is the point of it then? What comes next? What does Platinum actually signify at that stage?
It’s too easy to reach Platinum, and what do the drivers actually get out of it?
There are no races restricted to Platinum drivers only. Plus, it’s far too difficult to lose your safety rating. The system needs an overhaul, really.

However, the driver rating and safety rating really should be set up differently.

Ideally, separate ratings for GT3, LMP2/3, and Hypercar class as well. There’s really no getting around it, LMU.

I’m Platinum 3 and these days I only race in Gold; I have to say I’m quite happy with it now – I’ve done about 160 races. Rather than awarding SR based on class, I’d suggest adding more races for Platinum – perhaps multi-class ones lasting 45–60 minutes.
