Known Issue [Online] No vehicle for race?

is there some documentation or at least a summary of what people found out?
about what's possible with this REST API

The thing (swagger) is self-explanatory
And anything you don't understand at a glance, you shouldn't touch as a rule,
but that's just my well-intentioned advice

Oh & first ask yourself honestly what you're actually planning to do

I absolutely understand your curiosity, I'm always very curious about such things myself,
but I can't offer you a list or anything like that. I'm already considering making my tool (helping hand) public,
but then you also have a certain amount of responsibility & I'm not sure if I want to take on that responsibility,
especially for me, who already has enough problems of my own. Besides, I'd have to improve the user interface first.
Maybe after I renovate my apartment, because that's currently on my agenda

Good evening @andre_betancourt@outlook. ,

the next time you encounter this error, try the following,
but I can't promise it will actually help, because it's just my guess :

• open your browser, leave LMU running & then enter the following URL
• http://localhost:6397/swagger/index.html
• Now search for the following line
• takeControlOfVehicle
• click on it, then it will expand downwards & you'll see the "Try it out"-button in the top right corner
• click on it & you'll see a long blue button called "Execute"
• click it & then go back to the LMU-game (using the "ALT"-key (hold it down on your keyboard) + the "TAB"-key)

Please give me feedback on whether this helped you with your problem

This bug/issue still persists!!

How come you allow more people joining some specific server then it allows?? This must not be happening!
And the numbers of players in the main servers lobby are more or less still pretty not accurate.

Hi, So my last 3 online races all started with the NO VEHICLE bug all in dailies 2 in the GT3's at Sebring and one in the Hyper/GT3 at COTA .
They all started the same way ..I'm using a custom skin on the Merc I Register, pick my car, pick my car number. I can get right into the Practice sessions but when the timer counts down & i join the race, it gives me the NO VEHICLE bug every time. I can however, get into the race after I let the error message come to 'end program' or alt/tab to task manager and shut LMU down, after a game restart, I can use the tab at the top saying the race is already running to get back in and so far that has worked all 3 times today .. At first I just thought it was a glitch so I didn't think about reporting but after 3 times in a row I thought I would post ..

Whether you're using a custom skin seems to be one of the first questions asked with this issue (after "have you changed your name?"), honestly don't know if there's a known issue but your testing would certainly suggest so

Agree.. I have not changed my name in LMU. Right now, the common denominator in my case seems to be the custom skins .. but i don't see too many other players complaining about this while using custom skins so it could be on my end some how ..

Just some follow-up. Today in 2 races using the custom skins with GT3's I was able to get in. However, the first race, it went to the NO VEHICLE screen, but instead of the screen freezing like in the vid above, the blue windows circle cursor kept spinning and within about 20 seconds, the UI refreshed with the drive button active so it managed to 'fix' itself lol ..It was a different car this time, the Porsche 911 GT3 with a custom skin ..2nd race, I got in no probs, same car. Yesterday it was the Merc ..

Bonjour cela fait plus de 1 mois que je ne peu pas roulez car ce problème de aucun véhicule ne veut pas s’enlever j’ai beau tout faire rien ne changer si quelqu’un aurait une solution ça serait génial !

I just had the same problem!
Weekly Monza race, at 17:00, Split 3 I believe.
It said No vehicle and I even re-started the game, nothing.

Also, I've noticed my surname has changed and went from De Silva to just Silva in my profile. I'm not sure why or when that happened, but I read somewhere such things can cause issues with the no vehicle.
I've registered for another race now and we'll see if it again says No vehicle or not..

I have had that happen on occasion for a long time now and it always disappeared after probably around
10 seconds or lower, never had to try to get out of it.

I've definitely waited over 10 seconds and nothing happened. The race after was fine once again, but that "no vehicle" episode was on a race with 4x impact on ratings and has impacted it which is annoying. Seems to work again, hopefully it doesn't pop up again

So what do i have to do to get rid of this bug?

The name change thing should only impact when you change your name after registering for an event (so for champs I think it can affect the whole week, other events it's just between registration and the event itself).

If you change your name some time ago, that won't be the cause. Don't change your name again, no need.
