Known Issue [Online] No vehicle for race?

This issue is known and being investigated by the developers.
Tengo el mismo error y me tira al menu, no puedo jugar online.

In Woodee's post just two below yours, there is a hyperlink in his signature on HOW TO LOG A BUG REPORT. This will take you to an article that explains where to find the trace and dmp files. (hint..../LOG...) ;>

I'm not sure if the missing car is related to the driver + #### name that the sim generates to avoid duplicates. The 4 digit number has been added for quite some time now, but the missing car just showed up with the last major update. Perhaps the digits contribute to the issue, but it seems separate.
Realize the June update was the largest code change since the sim premiered. So lots of opportunity for nasty gremlins to sneak in.
Welcome back. I hope you get your issues sorted, LMU can be quite entertaining. Just think, once you do get online...it will only be a very short while before you learn to file a PROTEST!!!!
 
as mentioned in the title, ive signed up for the LMGT3 COTA Race, did the pratice and when the even started i wasnt able to control my car in any of the 3 segments. I dont know if i lost SR or DR but i guess i did for not starting. I´ve restarted the game and rejoined the lobby multiple times.

I experienced this error today in the 2.4 Hours of Le Mans special event.
I was on a practice server without any issues, but when I joined the race server, I was unable to race. I've exited the game several times and restarted my PC, but I haven't had a vehicle at all.

I'm experiencing the same issue since update V1.0. I can join practice and have a normal session with other vehicles on track but when i join the race session. Server syncing is displayed on right side of screen where drivers in session are displayed and no cars are on track. I did a fresh install with same issue. no issues with other sims.

the next time you encounter this error, try the following,
but I can't promise it will actually help, because it's just my guess :

  • open your browser, leave LMU running & then enter the following URL
  • http://localhost:6397/swagger/index.html
  • Now search for the following line
  • takeControlOfVehicle
  • click on it, then it will expand downwards & you'll see the "Try it out"-button in the top right corner
  • click on it & you'll see a long blue button called "Execute"
  • click it & then go back to the LMU-game (using the "ALT"-key (hold it down on your keyboard) + the "TAB"-key)

I don't know if you have a second monitor, because that would be ideal for testing,

because you can easily mess up all your LMU settings with this (let's call it) "tool"❗

Therefore, if you're interested, I would recommend just querying data first,
but not sending anything. So only execute GET commands❗

Ultimately this "tool" is only of interest to programmers, developers or people like me,
who want to access certain features that aren't currently available in the game.

I'm also really grateful 👏🤝👍 that the LMU developers are giving "us" this opportunity,
because I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else before, but I'm not a programmer either :cry:
