since they already have some Middle Eastern tracks, that kinda puts a damper on Aslms being next up. I still wonder about American tracks because so few meet the Grade 1 or Grade 2 requirements. It's not like you can just plant a Hypercar on an old BTCC circuit or American local tracks like Mid Ohio. There are SOME USA tracks that will fill the bill. IF IMSA is the way forward, I wonder just how many tracks we will see?
There are 4 FIA Grade 1 tracks in the USA: CotA, Indy (Oval), Vegas F1, Miami F1.
There are 18 track layouts that meet FIA Grade 2: Arlington Street, Barber, Detroit Street, Indy (Road), Lime Rock, Long Beach Street, Mid-Ohio, NOLA x2, Portland, Road America, Road Atlanta, Sebring, Sonoma, St. Pete Street, Thermal Club, Virginia, Laguna Seca.
Of those, the most desired will be: Barber, Indy Road, Lime Rock, Road America, Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca.
Nords is a class 3 track. Daytona is not on the FIA list.
