MyLMU - Telemetry & Stats Tracker for LMU (New AI Update)

Hey yall!

So, I was looking to get more stats from LMU and find a way to visualize. Initially, I was just going to do this for myself, but then I realized something, there are no cool (and I mean cool), easily accessible stat trackers for LMU out there.

That's when I had a better idea... maybe I should create one for the entire LMU community, completely for FREE! Plus, I want to make sure it's a tool where anyone can easily check their stats anywhere (no need to download a desktop app bleh no one wants that), even on their phone so we can all show off our progress and achievements to our sim racing friends or normal ones (if you have them).

That's how the MyLMU App (mylmu.app) was born! Let me give a run down of how it works:

  • Head over to mylmu.app.
  • Sign up and set your in-game driver name. (must be the exact same)
  • Upload XML race result files from your LMU Results folder.
  • View your race history and detailed analytics.
  • Track performance over time and compare across categories/tracks/cars.
Some core features you will encounter in the app (see attached photos):

  • Dashboard
  • Detailed Session Analysis
  • Analytics
  • AI Insights (still working on this so it's still in beta)
  • View where you land in the MyLMU Community Leaderboard and request some features. (need some beta testers for this)
I want this to be a truly community project, and I need your eyes and feedback. If you're passionate about LMU and love diving into data, please give MyLMU a try. I'd love to know:

  • Did you find any bugs (of course you did), things missing or other problems? (important)
  • How was the experience getting your files uploaded? (very important)
  • What other vital stats or visualizations are you craving from your LMU sessions?
  • Did anything break or feel clunky?
  • What's the one feature that would make MyLMU essential for you?
  • Also if you've got a variety of races (different categories), especially longer ones, your data would be incredibly valuable for testing and refining MyLMU!
MyLMU is still in early stages so any help would be appreciated. You can send a DM through here, email support@mylmu.app or send a message on X (Twitter).

Also if the guys from the Le Mans Ultimate team want to help I'm all for it!

See you in MyLMU,
Guilherme Secca

Thanks for the effort you put into this. I was uploading stats to another forum member as well who tried something similar to this. I don't manage to play much at the moment but I'll try to assist by using the site and trying it out.

Will my email address be shared with anyone else?

Nice app, it would be cool to get some auto upload app.

At some point i thought of an API used by some sort of plugin which would send data between sessions.
Like entering quali it would send the previous practice session automatically.
Problem is task is too heavy for a plugin, it would hang the game.

If the Api exists, a simple powershell script would be useful to send like "today's results" in one click. Add some options, only races, etc. and you will get even more data with simplifying the process.

Dropping one file between thousands is quite boring.

I personnaly remove my all results/replays quite often. Your app would also be a sort of archive of my data.

Thank you! "Your app would also be a sort of archive of my data." this is one of the main propositions of the app. I will try to streamline the import process so you guys get a better UX.

It seems to work well, but it's still not what I'm looking for which is far more simplistic. I just want an 'app' that will record my best laps in practice, qualifying and race in each car. Just the best laps. So if I have a lap time uploaded and I better it, I want that time to replace the previous best lap. I'm not distinguishing between offline and online. I currently have to keep a 'written' record of my times on a Word document. (See attached - don't look at my embarrassingly slow times!). I had this 25 years ago in GPL and a full list of my best times (as uploaded) on GPLRank. https://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/php-pub/user.php?login

If it could be done a quarter of a century ago, it puzzles me why something so simple can't be achieved now?

Have you checked the Track specific page? The only thing is it doesn't track Practice sessions nor Offline sessions but I'll will add that in the future.

OK, I see I had an an additional folder with one result in my Results folder (I don't recall why). It had this result file in it. I'll give it another go.

Hi! You got that error from trying the "Sync Existing Files" right? If you can tell me the size of that file that got an error would be great. Also the folder monitoring have you tried? I suggest going to a Race Weekend session offline see if it's uploading (you can just click "Start Driving" and then "Quit" and it should say file detected). If it's not try selecting the folder again. If you encounter any more bugs/errors let me know.

Well, I haven't tried doing all the files again, but I just did qually and a race at Le Mans (online) and it told me the sync had failed.

I just tried an 'all files' sync and upload and it failed on that race file - the one I've just done - the Super 60 at Le Mans. 'PAYLOAD TOO LARGE' again. The file is 637kb.

EDIT - But it was happy for me to upload the file 'manually'.

The problem is syncing too many files at once is clogging the API. I’m working on a solution for this. For the automatic syncing you might’ve got disconnected. I can see other users were able to automatically upload their files.
