Loading races takes a long time.

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and now offline race load times are around 15 minutes or more; for online races, it never loads—it gets stuck at 100% and freezes. Is there a solution?
 
Strange. I have Win 11 and even a full grid three class race at Le Mans offline loads in about 2-3 minutes for me.

Make sure the game loads from an SSD, or better from an NVme device, from a HDD it's just way too slow.

Also 32GB DDR4 RAM is the minimum for decent loading times and fluent online gaming (the Le Mans track will actually use 35/36GB RAM easily).

It ran fine for me on Windows 10 with 16GB of RAM, but ever since updating to Windows 11, the races won't load; I have it installed on an NVMe drive.

I have had Win11 since forever..(lol) and have no issues loading rF2 or LMU via NVME on a 2nd drive from the windows boot NVME.
I suspect something is cludging up the works, not specifically Win11 or LMU but something left behind prior or during the swap to 11.

I'd backup the lmu UserData folder and then wipe out LMU completely. Use Steam to begin, then windows explorer to clean out any left over files/folders. Finally use something like CCleaner to erase any left over registry files BEFORE you re-install.

I rarely recommend un-installing any Steam game as nothing really changes when you re-install. But in this case, because of the transfer to Win11, it is possible something in the process will get corrected.

IF, after all that, LMU works correctly, you can transfer files from the backup of the UserData folder to get back any setups and controller profiles.

I used NordVPN on Windows 10 without any issues; there might be a problem with the connections between the VPN, Windows 11, and LMU (though this is just a guess).
 
I just remember seeing this solved problem here but cannot remember their configs. ( more than 1 in fact as this helped other members here ).
The one to whom I also gave this tip in our french league was well a Win11 user.
