At the moment I'm just using the straight ingame ffb without the LMUFFB app. On GT3's it isn't too bad, but with other classes there are issues after flatspotting. These Logitech wheels rattle like crazy and become very noisy, so I can't race as my wife works in the same room.

On Github, when downloading LMUFFB, there is a guide on how to set your ffb up. I've spent hours on my G27 and found the default setttings to be pretty much the same as everything else I tried. To be fair I was quite numb after spending several hours over a few days trying to dial the ffb in.

I always run in borderless. When you are running full screen and ALT TAB out of the game and come back, the game may crash, PC can hang itself. Running Borderless prevent this from happening.
 
It’s been pretty quiet here over the last few weeks — everything okay with ErwinMoss?
I really hope they haven’t quietly killed him and this great project behind the scenes. :oops:;)
 
Wow it's been a while since I've tried an updated version and things have improved :love:I'm trying the latest version[v7.390] and straight out of the box completely default it feels very good. I've been using v7.73 for a long while and that took days & days of adjusting to feel this good.

My only issue at the moment is oscillation during heavy braking. Anybody know what I should do to stop it?

I did notice my wheel going a bit mad when entering/leaving the pits, exiting a session etc. Is that what you mean :(

I did a post with a profile and the simpro configuration, i would just turn up the wheelbase to 12nm and try it

fixed text confusing, some say that the game's ffb should be disabled when using lmuffb, but the lmuffb app instructions say that I can leave the game's ffb on as long as the ffb strength is above 0 percent.I personally leave the game ffb on so the lmuffb app works more stably.i using...

v0.7.400 is out now, has anybody tried it? I'm on the previous version and I think it's excellent but I'm too tired after a long race to try the latest version and I'm curious about it :)

so, any answer as to why the app went closed source? theres very few reasons a vibecoded app randomly goes closed source and not a single one of them is good.

especially since as per the original post, this is a derivative of apps covered under the GPL license

Who knows. Erwin (creator of the app) has also since disappeared from this forum. Was very active initially getting feedback from us. All quiet for a couple of months now.
