LMU Results Companion

Quick bug report: when driving the Aston Martin GT3, LMU-RC reads the file as if it was a Cadilac Hypercar (Cadilac V-lmdh)

What may or may not be useful:
On the Session tab, when selecting multiple sessions by Ctrl+click, all lap times of selected sessions are shown in the bottom window, with green and purple taking into account all laps from those sessions. This would be handy to compare lap and sector times across sessions.

Anyway, lovely tool, thanks!
This should be fixed in 1.3.4

On the 2nd point, I probably won't be able to do that - the laps are keys on the session ID so showing for multiple sessions would probably break everything. However, the Track History tab pretty much does that already

Hi Doug,
I'm having issues with timings in the Sessions tab in general with the app. Not all (if any) reported times are being populated correctly. The affected columns are:

Duration
Total Time
xLap Time
Best Lap

I don't know if this is just me, or a known issue but (for me at least), none of this data has worked as anticipated from day one. Any help would of course be very much appreciated. I know it's early days for the app and it's coming together well, just these 'niggles' for me!

Many thanks.
Hi,
This should all be addressed now in 1.3.4. New races will pick these up automatically. If you want to fix up older races, right click the session(s) and select Re-pair race and it will re-read the LMU saved session files

Hi Doug, I mentioned at the start of the thread that I wanted to use the timing widget for sectors etc. and having tried it this morning it seems to work well, except the colouring for slower, faster, best sectors just doesn't seem to work. Is that a known thing? View attachment 7463
Hi,
Sorry for the long delay - life has been getting in the way. 1.3.4 should improve things a bit. I've only done a quick test but I think most colours are now correct. I've got to run a fuller test to ensure fastest/faster/slower times are displayed correctly for all rows (I think I might still need to tweak PB/Record/Record (C) rows)

Updates to LapTimes Widget
I've finally had time to see what is going on with the Laptimes widget and found a whole bunch of bugs, miscalculations and poor assumptions. V1.3.6 should finally fix the colour coding of the times.

In the above example
  • The personal best for the player (across previous sessions)
    • Was a slower lap than the player in this session (ie yellow)
    • Had a slower first sector
    • Sectors 2/3 were faster than anyone in this session (ie purple)
  • Record (C) is the fastest in class
    • Laptime should always be purple
    • Sectors 1/2/3 not fastest overall (green)
  • Average is average of all valid player laps. Always white
  • Optimal is the best theorectical player lap in this session (sum of best sectors for player)
    • Laptime is green (best for player, but not fastest overall)
    • Sector 1 is fastest overall.
    • Sectors 2/3 not fastest overall (white)
  • Best & last lap
    • Laptime improved but not fastest overall
    • Sector 1 best overall
    • Sectors 2/3 fastest for player, but not fastest overall
  • Current
    • Sector 1 is slower than player best

Finally, thanks again to all those who have donated. I really appreciate it

I like the session summary - I don't remember that before - is it new? Maybe I just didn't notice it. It's a shame though that it says 'ACC' at the top.

On the Track History tab, the class dropdown doesn't seem to work. When I filter GT3 (or anything for that matter), still all laptimes for all cars show.
Also, can you explain the fuel calculations? I think that GTE and maybe LMP2 show okay, but the value shown for GT3 doesn't match up with either fule of VE.
Thanks :)

That's been around since the start. I'll change the dialog title in the next release. I think that's hopefully the last reference to ACC

You're right..the filters are passed correctly. It also looks like some brand icons are missing. I'll have a look for the next update.

The fuel calculations are based the the average fuel consumption of all your previous laps. If they look wrong, press the Re-calculate button on the Fuel page and it should try to work them out again. Unfortunately, LMU doesn't publish VE stats in the API so I can't work that out

LMU Results Companion 1.4.0 Released (here)

• Support for LMU June 2025 Update (Update #5)
• Recognise new GT3 cars and new track
• Fix Glickenhaus typo (car not recognised)
• Missing brands for league tab
• Fixes for laptimes widget errors
• Session summary - fix Sim name
• Track History
• Add missing brands for track history
• Implement class filter (track history)

NOTES:
  • I haven't been able to fully test this so consider it an interim update to at least recognise the LMU Update #5 changes
  • LMU Update #5 has changed the way invalid laps are reported. I've tried to account for this, but it may need tweaking
  • SP races - I've seen a couple where the last lap isn't correctly reported due to the way LMU abruptly ends the session. Not sure yet if I can do anything here
  • More changes to come with new info available
  • Finally, thanks again to all those who have given donations - I really appreciate it and it helps to keep this project going

Incorrect Gap Times and Final Standings positions
I've noticed the the gap times now are very suspect and the final standings are probably incorrect now. LMU-RC was using the current time published by LMU to estimate lap times (previously LMU didn't report lap times for invalid laps) and to calculate gaps. However, this field no longer does what it says on the tin, so I'm going to have to find an alternative solution.

bear with me

OK thanks. I think it relates to older sessions were imported (when LMU-RC was new). I hadn't figured out how to filter out the dodgy times LMU would sometimes report (it gives missing and truncated sector times for invalid laps and if you exit a session before completing a full lap etc).

I think I've put measures in now to mitigate against that, although I see a lot of dodgy times on the leaderboard which I need to sort out.

To fix you own bad times, select your dodgy time
Cwrh8as.png

Double click the row and it takes you to the session. Right click the bad lap and select Mark lap as invalid
wMq8KSW.png

The lap should then be marked accordingly
p4Wt36A.png

Go to the Circuits page and click the Rebuild button
4GeriaA.png

It should now update correctly

You mentioned laps in your Alpine were missing. So I know what to look for what specifically is missing?

I see your race on 25/6 at 18:54 and 4 laps were recorded. Are you saying laps for a session are missing, or whole sessions are missing?
