I'm struggling a bit to understand what is going on with your Fuji practice session at 2026-05-15 22:39:51. If I look for example at Lorenzo Fluxa, it looks like his times from lap 27 onward are overlayed on laps 1-26. From the logs it looks like either the practice session was saved and resumed or LMU-RC was only started part way through the session. Is this the case?That was the one thing in the changelog that I suspected.
Something else I noticed (but may have been there before). I had set up a practice session with some AI cars. When the session was over, the final standings list would show the last AI lap as being valid (with an incomplete lap time). If you go to the individual AI player laptime list, that same lap has a blank for the last sector the AI was in, and the lap was marked invalid. I just fixed it by marking all of those bad lap times as invalid in the results list and it disappeared from the final standings list.
There was a huge bug prior to v1.8.2 - the lap numbers were calculated rather than taking the lap number reported from LMU. This was fine if starting from scratch, but if LMU-RC didn't see the start of the session (joining MP practice, resumed races etc) then the laps got out of sync.
This should be fixed from 1.8.3 onwards. However your older sessions are still broken - will apply to this session and any other where LMU-RC was not running for the whole race, perhaps online practice and saved/resumed sessions. To fix this, pick the problem session, right click and select Clear and reload results file. This will delete the session and reload it from the LMU results file. You will ultimately lose some info that is only in shared memory (tyre/brake temps/pressures)
Yes, I started the practice session and spent a bit of time messing around in the car setup page changing setups for the car. I may have left the practice running a bit before I got in the car to drive. I started up LMU-RC sometime around Lap 26 for Lorenzo Fluxa.
You may not have noticed, but the next session that LMU-RC recorded is the SAME session. That second session looks like it is a session that LMU-RC compiled using the result.xml file. I was comparing lap times from the first session in the db with the .xml file results (using simresults.net) and what it looks like to me is that LMU-RC recorded info from the shared memory fine. At the end of the session when recording compiling the session results the LMU-RC is like "hey I have results for Lorenzo for laps 27-49.....but I ain't got nothing for laps 1-26!" So what LMU-RC did was work backwards from the end of the **results .xml** file and filled in the data from that .xml file from bottom to top!
Although it may look like LMU_RC just copy and pasted the data gathered from the shared memory, I think that data was actually coming from the .xml file. Lap 1 (for Lorenzo) is actually time for Lap 24....then Lap 2 is Lap 25....etc....until Lap 26 is data from the last lap #49. I'm including a .zip file of the results.xml file if you wanna take a look
Doug, I finally was able to fire up LMU with the new version. I just did a 45min practice session with some AI LMP2 cars.
The things I mentioned earlier seems to have been fixed, but there are two things that seem to be not quite working right.
1) The Final standings seems to be working right, but the Position/Class Position values when looking at individual drivers seem to be off.
2) The last session lap I had didn't seem to record tire temp, brake temp or tire pressure.

I "fixed" the final standing positions previously - I previously calculated the positions (a hang over from ACC) but I switched to relying on the LMU reported ones as they were more reliable. However, it looks very wrong still. Positions look correct for Practice/Quali but Class positions are incorrect. Both look wrong for Race - I'll look into this

If you are off-track at the point of the sector timing beam, but don't invalidate your lap, then you can get some really weird split times. Is it possible this might be the case?
There can often be a similar issue at the first split at Portimao (in the way the game logs the sectors I mean, not with LMU-RC specifically).

I did 13 laps and they all have the same pattern. I had a couple offtracks, but none at the sector timing lines.
Can you highlight the session in question and export diagnostics (instructions here) and then I can see what went on
If you exceed track limits at any point, LMU doesn't report lap/sector times so LMU-RC will try to interpolate the times which *may* explain odd sector times. The LMU reported times should still be available in the results file (you can look at these if you right click the session in LMU-RC and select Open Results File)
As a validation check, can you highlight the session and export diagnostics (instructions here) and I can investigate and see ifthere is an issue

Can't find it anymore. I don't remember which track it was and there doesn't seem to be a session ID filter in the Leaderboard tab.

found it and couldn't do the export then, then by accident I went to that session in Sessions tab by double-clicking it. I'm going to PM you the export.

I ran another test this morning with really safe laps, so no offtracks. Not even green ones and still get the same results.

Also i think it is a problem with the file the game is generating. I see the exect same symptoms in CDA delta.
Unfortunately, the logs don't go back to the 2nd June so I can't see the cause of the issue. I've messaged you showing how you can fix the session
The results file was missing from the diagnostics. Can you go to the session, right click and select "Open Results File" and attach the file that is opened

You can blacklist dodgy records (right click -> Blacklist record) and use the Blacklist Filter "Apply Blacklist"). I don't think anyone is cheating...it is just that sometimes if someone abandons a lap, I can't differentiate that from a complete lap. I'm trying to work on a solution
