LMU Pitwall — Open Source Real-Time Dashboard for Your Second Monitor

LMU Pitwall v1.1.23 — New Wind Widget & Weather Widget Improvements
New Wind Widget

Vehicle and compass rose showing wind direction and speed, always relative to the vehicle

Weather Widget - Update (thanks to @Flotoprof )

- Track wetness trend: a new "average path wetness" value shows the actual amount of water on the racing line, with a drying/wetting trend indicator. Much more useful than rain intensity alone for tire-change decisions.
- Per-node forecast ETAs: each forecast node now shows when that weather will hit in race time, computed from your session time and average lap pace. Great for endurance stint planning.

Hi. I can't change the port. The settings aren't saved. When I reconnect, the interface settings indicate 9090, but it still starts on 9000.

Hi, nice overlay. is it possible to enlarge standings ? it shows me only 5 driver for more i have to scroll but i would like to have it over the whole 2nd monitor to see all drivers at once

Just tap the lock icon in the top right corner, and then you can adjust the widget's height and width.

The results and fuel calc tabs don't work due the following error:
DB unavailable: Failed to open database at C:\Program Files\LMU Pitwall\pitwall_results.db

And indeed my program files folder only includes the install, and 2 uninstall files.

Also I was wondering if the relative times that was being brought up here is implemented somewhere?
I think the app is great, and I use it on a second monitor to remove most hud's from the main game.

Some things that would I suggest that would be awesome for me as a user:
- in standings, relative gain per lap based on previous laps (howmuch time you gained or lost on everybody around you), mostly used for longer endurance
- predicted lap times, using your best lap time, adding the delta on it to predict your current lap.

love the app <3

Thank you for your feedback.

Quick fix: install Pitwall into a writable folder instead of C:\Program Files\, or run it as administrator.
C:\Program Files\ is read-only for normal users, so the app can't create its database there.
A relative widget was in the works; a user and a helper wanted to implement it. I personally use the one from LMU. Maybe I'll tackle that in the future.

Regarding your suggestions: Sounds good. But instead of adding this to the standings, I think some kind of "battle widget" would be better. That could show the drivers in front of and behind you. Maybe put "Predict Lap" in a separate widget as well. What do you think?

Good morning,

Just a quick note: I always find the order of the results a bit strange. I can't seem to view them chronologically, and they often appear in a random order like this. Is there a way to sort them chronologically, or am I doing something wrong?

thanks the admin trick worked.
The event names are a bit off, and like the person above me mentioned the ordening of them is a bit all over the place.
And for the Fuel calc, I think more tracks need their different track variants listed as for Monza it's giving me the version without chicane for some reason but not an option to go with the chicane to see that fuel consumption.

For the add-on suggestions.
Maybe as split or maybe instead of extra widgets as settings so you can choose to enable them?
Not sure what is best :)

thanks for your quick replies though

Great suggestions, thank you very much. I'll incorporate the sorting logic. In the Fuel Calculator, I'll look into how I can implement the various racetrack options. I'll also explore the possibilities regarding Battle Widget or similar features.
