LMP3 category is pay to win

I really love the game and bought it in early access but I can't stand that in order to get any result with the LMP3s you have to buy the paid cars.
The free Adess LMP3 is really bad, the grip is so low and the performance is so poor that you can't get it closer than 2 secs slower than the fastest LMP3 regardless of the track or the setup. And when you try to get under these 2 secs the car becomes undrivable.
I hope the devs will sort this out in future updates and that this poor performance was not intended.

There may be a reason why no established team is competing in WEC with the ADESS. Only United is racing two of them in the Le Mans Cup. The performance may just not be there.
Also, there is quite a discrepancy between the other LMP3s. At some tracks the Ginetta lags far behind, while the Duke is hit or miss when compared to the Ligier. If you go back and look at threads when the Ginetta was released, there were quite a lot of complaints about lap times not being equal.

There is no reason, Oreca dominated LMP2 because their car was the best and most reliable, Ligier and Duqeuine the same in LMP3, their cars are more common better developed and therefore acquire more data and info to those makes, it is nothing to do with speed really.

All the LMGT3 cars race in the same series and are BOP'd by the same organization. The Adess cars compete in a lower level series with probably a separate BOP group. LMGT3 can be bopped closer because they are all there, at every event.

The LMP3 cars had only 1 or 2 cars other than the Ligiers & Dukes so getting a group balanced lacks the same group wide Data. And the Adess cars are not in the same fields so there is no direct 1 to 1 comparison. Nielsen(I've previous listed United Autosport incorrectly) is a well established team, if they cannot extract pace from the Adess cars, then perhaps that brand is just...slow.

Neither the Ginetta nor the Addess appear in the Michelin Le Mans cup entry lists for 2026, it looks like Nlelson has abandoned their effort and chosen to campaign 3 Duqueines this year.

So do users want an artificial car or do they want something that reflects the real world? If one cannot compete at the same pace with the ADESS, then LMGT3, GTE, or LMP2 and HY offer reasonable free alternatives. Think of the ADESS as a Glickenhaus, unless massively bop'd, it was never on the same level as the Toyota.

You know... there is another option: a good free car.
