Known Issue [Input] Random Force Feedback Loss (T150 Pro)

This issue is known and being investigated by the developers.

I am experiencing a recurring issue with my Thrustmaster T150 Pro while playing. The Force Feedback (FFB) randomly stops working during practice, qualifying, or races. Sometimes, I have FFB during qualifying, but then lose it right at the start of the race. Other times, it is already gone when I enter a session, without any clear pattern.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch the game with the Thrustmaster T150 Pro connected.
  2. Start a practice, qualifying, or race session.
  3. The Force Feedback may be lost as soon as the session begins.

Workaround:
Restarting the wheel temporarily restores FFB, but the issue may eventually reappears in the next session.

System Information:
  • Wheel: Thrustmaster T150 Pro
  • Platform: PC
  • Drivers: latest Thrustmaster drivers
  • Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Additional Notes:

  • The issue occurs randomly, making it difficult to identify a specific trigger.
  • The wheel remains functional (buttons and steering still work), but without FFB.
  • Other racing games do not seem to have this issue with the same hardware.

Any help or fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Map a button for resetting FFB in settings under "Interaction" i think but could be wrong. It's a known thing but not fixed yet.

Please post trace files of game sessions when this has happened:

This is the only game since I have FFB steering wheels which looses the FFB in the middle of driving. Anyone knows why is this happening? Its strange that there is a feature to reset it, which shows the s397 is aware or this problem, but doesn't know how to salve it.

The feature to reset it, doesn't fix my issue. I still don't have FFB. I have to unplug my steering wheel

Possibly a known issue:

  • Certain Thrustmaster devices can disconnect after multiple sessions (TMX, T818, T248, T150, T300RS) - advice is to completely re-install Thrustmaster software and firmware

But please do supply the trace files as I stated above as it will help.

Try the driver I gave in the link.

Everything I tried did not work. I have to unplug my wheel to make FFB come back, and sometimes unplugging it makes my game crash. I never seen anything like it, and I don't know why my bug report was labelled report as known issue.

It's labelled as known.... because the devs know it's a problem.

In my case, best practice is:
in Menu :
Switch to Device-Manager -> Human Interface Devices
Deactivate T150 - Device (Context-Menu)
Activate T150 - Device
While in race:
One time it didnt work, because i was already at race start while deactivating/activating, therefor pressing key with FFB-Reset worked in this case

When will this be fixed? It's impossible to play. I played when the game was released in early access and I didn't have this problem. I had it with other games but it could be easily fixed by going into the game menu settings for a moment without restarting or disabling things. I hadn't entered the game for a while, in May/June I did a couple of races but I didn't have a problem, now I've entered again and the FBB is lost in the races and there's no way to restart it, I have to stop playing until it's fixed because it's impossible to do a race.

Same problem, since the beginning of the early access. Have two recents PC, two T150 pro, and both have this issue... I don't play anymore, developpers don't care of this. Too bad
