Known Issue [Input] Losing FFB between sessions

This issue is known and being investigated by the developers.

I have a trustmaster T150 and this did NOT fix my issue. I am on Windows 11. It actually installed drivers for T500 or something else.

Wish the Devs would say something about this issue. I bought the game and ALL the DLC and I cannot play the game.

lastly, I do use the Reset FFB button on my keyboard, but nothing happens at all. The only thing that will fix my issue is unplugging the device and plugging it back in, but then sometimes other problems happen.

Known issue with T150, T500, TMX. Waiting on TM for a driver fix still.

Recommendation at this point is to use an old driver from 2018. I don’t have a link on me.

I just did a practice, qualifying, race, and didn't have any issues with loosing my FFB. (only did it once, but so far it was good, I will update if that changes)
 
Will this be fixed by v1.0 ? Updated my TMX firmware (to Firmware 20) without knowing of this issue and every race I have to unplug and replug my wheel (sometimes getting a DT penalty for driving slow) - which it never did before the update (also does not happen in any other sims regardless of firmware version). Guess I'll revert the work I did for now but just wondering about any updates. Thanks.
 
Arghh, still occurs for my T150. Did a great quali and starting the race without FFB. Tried to unplug/plug but got inmediately DT plus lost my power on the brakes. Pretty annoying!

Same issue, Thrustmaster T150. Seems to happen if you focus another window. FFB lost after returning. Only fixed by plugging the wheel off the USB and back on.

Pointing at Thrustmaster drivers hardly seems productive. Even if they do have issues, if it happens with absolutely no other game than yours this feels akin to blaming the compiler. Absolutely nothing can be done here? Cannot it be investigated what every other game does to not trigger this fault?
 
The developers are taking the piss out of everyone, given how long ago this bug was reported... especially with a Thrustmaster product that officially supports the game.

Using 2018 drivers have made it happen a lot less, but still happens. Testing this all required enough hours that I cannot refund the game on Steam now if I wanted, so I hope this works well enough...
 
Leman ultimate's team doesn't care, because there isn't a large enough outcry and doesn't affect their bottom line.
Thrustmaster isn't going to do anything because these are legacy systems affected.
Get another wheel or another game.
It's how I've delt with it.
 
Bonjour, comme "bruno_f400" J'ai le même problème sur mon Thrustmaster T500RS.
J'ai refait une installation propre de Windows 11 et je n'arrive pas à jouer sur LMU.
J'ai le même problème gênant : Mon FFB disparaît tout simplement quand je change de cession ou même lorsque je vais dans les paramètres du jeu.
Le bouton « Réinitialiser le FFB », ne résout pas le problème.
Lorsque je vais dans le "panneau de configuration"/ "propriétés" / "tester les forces" je n'ai plus aucun effet !
Si je vais dans une autre simu, plus de ffb ? Je dois déconnecter le volant et le reconnecter pour retrouver le ffb.
Dans les autres simulations, je n'ai pas ce problème.

Comment résoudre ce problème, je tourne en rond avec ce soucis!

I, instead of plugging out and in, deactivate T150 in Devicemanager and activate it again, works without crashing game or entirely loosing connection to T150 .
If already "on the road", same procedure, but additionally FFB-Reset ingame afterwards

Or via Powershellscript :

J'ai fait de nombreux test depuis, et là j'ai trouvé une solution qui a l'air de fonctionner pour l'instant.
J'ai désinstallé tous les drivers Thrusmaster T500RS, Puis j'ai installé une ancienne version, la: 2021_TTRS_4
J'ai roulé plusieurs fios depuis cette modification, et pour l'instant, aucune perte de "FFB".

I've done a lot of testing since then, and I've found a solution that seems to work for now.
I uninstalled all the Thrusmaster T500RS drivers, then installed an older version: 2021_TTRS_4
I've driven several FIOs since this change, and so far, no loss of FFB.

So I'm having the same issue with my Thrustmaster T150 since the 2nd to last update.
Before version 1 or the original version 1, I never had this issue.

I'm having the issue that in LMU multiplayer game daily race, when the servers sets from practice to quali or from quali to race, my FFB is just gone.
I need to restart my PC to get it to work again.
Gain settings in the control panel of Thrustmaster still is configured. The game's FFB settings are also still configured.
If I don't reboot my PC, I have the same issue in ACC so only fix is a reboot.

When I then go back in LMU, I end the race and then I try a new race, FFB gone again.
In ACC I never had this issue and in previous patches of LMU, I didn't have it either, it's just since the last 2 patches.

Important note: I also don't have it when I play LMU single player. So this issue is only linked to online servers
 
Another random tip. Most likely won't make any difference, but here it is anyway.

Always use the usb ports on the back of your pc, they are connected directly to the motherboard.

The usb ports on the front of your pc come with the pc case. And they have a wire running to the motherboard. They can't handle as much data/stability/power draw as those on the back.
 
I’ve just bought the game today and I wish I saw these messages before. I have a T150pro and, of course, I have the same issues. It’s sad to see that this conversation has been going on for such a long time. Has anyone any news on whether the developers are planning to fix this? Or has anyone any feedback on whether old firmware versions work for this wheel?
Moreover, I tried to unplug my wheel and plug it back in, but, although I get the FFB back, the wheel doesn’t respond and neither the pedals.

Hi Dave. I'm not 100% sure which one it was, but the old driver fixed my issues. I have the 2021_TTRS_4 driver saved on the HDD, so that has to be the one? :) With the new T150 drivers, the game was losing FFB almost every race, and now it might happen maybe once a month, and you can just use a button to restart it. Before, with the new drivers, the button didn't work. Have fun! :)

As above, I’ve previously seen recommendations for the 2018 driver, so consider that as well.
 
I'm loosing the FFB in nearly every Turn for 1,2 seconds like a disconnect.
This is so annoying, nobody can drive this shit. This is ridicolous.
