Fuel Consumption increased for Ferrari 296?

I just completed the Daily Gold Race at Le Mans and the Ferrari 296's fuel consumption has completely changed since yesterday, before the hotfix.

I checked my telemetry from yesterday's race and I was using on average 6,58 liters/lap. Today, I was consuming 7,39 liters/lap... Same race, same car, same LICO technique, same VE and fuel ratio. I had to stop at the end of lap 10 to fuel the car.

I also ran out of fuel in quali; I thought this was my fault but clearly not.

Other GT3 drivers in the lobby told me their fuel consumption was fine but I was the only one in a Ferrari so I'm guessing it's the only car affected by the issue. I don't know if this is also the case for other tracks.

Was this change intended or did the hotfix mess up fuel consumption for the 296? There is nothing mentioned in the patch notes nor in the BOP file about that...

I looked at that file before writing this post, nothing is said in there about fuel consumption but @Sander was right, it was mentionned in the patch notes (without any details though).

I just think it's sort of ridiculous that the 296 is already weak on the brakes and on corner exit, yet the devs make it heavier by requiring a larger fuel load?!

Very few people drive the Ferrari in the top splits because of its performance compared to the other cars, the fuel consumption increase doesn't make any sense IMO but it is what it is.

There's only one thing that I can do at this point :

I think all the GT3 cars have had an increase in fuel consumption, not just the Ferrari.
 
The Ford went from ~0.70 to ~0.88 fuel ratio, so don't worry.

What does worry me is that the estimates still seem broken

That's good to know. I was worried because the other guys were telling me that their fuel consumption was unchanged.

And yes, the estimates are broken too!
