FORUM FEEDBACK

We are a small team on the forum and we do our best. Either to log reports and information for the devs to look at or just take part in community posts.

We understand how frustrating game problems can be in this EARLY ACCESS phase, but please be concise with bug reports. Ranting will not help the problem.

You can do this by:
  1. Using search function for existing issues.
  2. If you do post in an existing thread, please follow the post #1 instructions if applicable)
  3. Creating a thread in the appropriate subforum with a descriptive title ("game crash" doesn't tell us much)
  4. Providing as much detail as you can.
  5. Treating the moderators and other users with respect.
  6. Understand that devs will not always have the time to respond to posts, but they do read them.

We would love to hear some constructive feedback about what we else we can do to help you.

THANK YOU

Assetto Corsa's forum had a useful functionality, which was always present no matter what part of it you visited: there was (and probably still is) a big warning at the top of the screen with a summary on how to report a bug.
I think that it might be useful, especially for the EA period.

Hello.
Please organize "feature requests".
Add sections for menu, physics, environment, etc, so that users can find specific suggestions easier. 🙂
Yes on the drop down on the left side there does need to be categories so we can jump straight to here and other areas without having to search for the specific forum thread.

Good call on this one

Would it be good to have a better feedback to community regarding feature requests and bug reports? It seems the "info required" status in the bug reports is the "a moderator looked at it" button, but then we don't know what is going on with these reports. Some are switched to known issues, but the rest are left in the wild (even some solved bugs).

With the QA team getting slightly bigger, wouldn't it be great to add additional status or have members from QA team to actually go through the bug reported, and have a "noted" status or something that confirm that no more information are required, and the bug has been put in a list (even if at the bottom of priorities) to be checked by QA?

Hey Woodee,

I noticed your profile pic of a speedway bike with a Welsh flag on the front of it. I am a Welshman living in Aus who spent near 20 years as a Newport Wasps fan. I tried sending you a DM but it wont let me, send me one when you get a second.

Does anyone know why the studio 397 rf2 community pages are not working?
It’s working ok for me, I did have a problem about a month ago not being able to access the rF2 forum, upshot was that I had to change my DNS server address (I was using the google one 8.8.8.8) to the one my ISP recommended. You could try changing your dns server address and see if that fixes things for you.

thanks for the feedback, the rf2 server is bad, constant connection problems here in Europe, doesn't work on any device, e.g. PC or smartphone, the servers for all other games work fine, would it be time to move rf2 to the same server as lemans ultimate?

I have two internet providers toob and sky internet, the rF2 forum site works fine on sky internet but not on the toob internet. The toob internet always seemed a bit erratic loading the rF2 forum site but works for all other sites I use. The problem could be caused by which internet provider you use. This is in the UK.

We have not been able to connect to the rf2 forum on any platform from Finland. We have tried on different devices and different servers, but since all other sites, e.g. lmu and others, are working normally, there is a problem. The site administrator could inform us what is wrong on the rf2 community platform so that customers do not have to figure out connection problems. Problems have been reported on e.g. reddit.
