Info Required FFB Loss Thread [Please Report in here]

Further information and reports are needed to assist development with a fix
Windows Version: 11
Steering Wheel: Fanatec CSL DD 8nm
Steering Wheel Firmware Version: 1.1.11.4
Pedals: Fanatec CSL Elite V2
Any other USB devices used with the game (Handbrakes, LapTimers etc): USB DDU via sim hub, StreamDeck XL
Online/Offline or Both: Happened online only started after last (cota) update haven't played since it did it.
Car Used: Alpine Hypercar
Track Used: Le Mans ( in the Porsche curves)

Only lost FFB for a split second, but fully loaded mid corner the car just spun

Guys, I really don't know if on the update released yesterday, there were a fix to the FFB issue. But if there were a try to solve this annoying issue, unfortunately it didn't... On my first test on LMU after I updated the game, I had already have the same issue...

Was this issue being tryed to get resolved by the development team on this yesterday's update???

In the known issues:

  • Certain Thrustmaster devices can disconnect after multiple sessions (TMX, T818, T248, T150, T300RS)
 
Wrf! From the patch of 24 of September I also have ffb hole during a small time. I will provide a trace file.

But for me the last update is a nightmare, stuttering and ffb bugs ans before this patch both was not there 😢

Mine is a T500RS... Just had a race thrown in the trash because this annoying issue... I realized I was without FFB before I went to track, restarted my wheel, but even with this, I started without the FFB... And it's simply impossible to race without it...

Loss of FFB at racestart. Never came back during race. In the next session it was back (without restart of game)

Guys,
another race ruined by this &¨%$&¨% FFB issue... Made the pole position and to ensure I would have proper FFB, I restarted my T500 when the event turned to race. But even with the restart procedure, when the race start procedure begun, I was without FFB!!!!!!!!!

Tryed to restart the wheel with the cars running to the start/finish line, but I ended leaving the track (because the wheel was restarting) and ended disqualified... What a frustrating thing this problem is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is the trace file from another race ruined....

After the previous frustrating racing problem described above, I decided to remove Thrustmaster Drivers (rebooting in safe mode to uninstall it), then I reinstalled the drivers, checked the firmware version and everything was fine.

After that, I uninstalled LMU, deleted the game folder and installed it in another HD... Everything in the hope to solve that issue, as I've said previously, before a recent Desktop format I had never have these FFB issues.

Well, after reinstalling the game and reconfiguring all wheel setting, buttons, etc, I went to the track and... On the first try, there was no FFB....

I don't know if this information helps, but what I saw that called my attention: I have the T500RS with a Ferrari F1 wheel... When I was without FFB, on the setting screen there were 4 detected devices: The "Ferrari F1 racing wheel", the "Thrustmaster T500RS", my pedals and my T8HA gearshift... As I tryed to solve the issue using the procedure I use to recover the FFB, when I got it right, on the list of detected devices, the "Ferrari F1 racing wheel" disapeared... And, when I had no FFB, "Ferrari F1 racing wheel" was on the list...

I'll try to observe if when my FFB is lost, how this detected devices list will show up...

Around 1377.26 in the trace I lose FFB and wheel rim controls. The wheelbase lights up in red (non-flashing). Turning off the wheel, turning it back on, and resetting FFB brings everything back to normal, but I have the same issue twice again the same race.

T818 thrustmaster…dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento perdo il segnale FFB ed il volante si spegne …accade su un cordolo o au curva particolarmente intensa!

Problem accures when i start a race weekend, the FFB is fine. After i save and load a race weekend the ffb is gone....in every race since i raced in race weekends. I only play offline and had not tested it online.

The FFB returend after i did a reset of the controls in the settings menu but that doesn't word anymore.

Tested it with other Sims, they work fine with the FFB. Only got this with LMU.
