After the US Track pass i think Le Mans Ultimate should bring some known european tracks which would make the game way better.
Like Nurburgring Nordschleife, Red Bull Ring, Hockenheimring, Zandvoort, Brands Hatch and Hungaroring. I think this would make the game way better with the addition of these tracks.

None have anything to do with WEC.

Let's call it a reasonable inference rather than a fanboy perspective. MSG and S397 would have wanted to release this US Track Pack as an IMSA Pack if possible. We can't know the internal business dealings, so I suppose things just didn't work out.

As it stands, the situation is closer to 'releasing tracks that share an ecosystem with LMH/LMDh'. While setting a precedent that content can be added via track-by-track licensing is positive, that doesn't mean the release of the tracks mentioned by the OP is definitely confirmed.
