Yes, I know they are not 'sets', and that you can [freely] mix and match, but your [original] reply, and the post you were replying to, used that term.
I was just correcting your math.
With 12 tyres you get 3 fresh 'sets' (3x4) if you change all tyres at once.

Will the engineer feature also be activated in the next endurance race?
The info says there are six spots available for each crew, including engineers.
 
Can we get any more information on the Le Mans 24H, please? The race will be in two weeks time and people need to make arrangements in their agendas.
 
what about solo 8 hours racers ?
he registered as a team of two, but driven 8 hours solo, while event is "drivers swap".

in iRacing this team will be disqualified from this race immediately after finish, due to "fair-share" rule, requiring every team member to drive at least 25% of his time share. so every member of team of two must drive at least 8/2*0.25 = 1 hour.
I am sure there will be many solo drivers at Imola this week.
didn't see what LMU says about this.

and another question is : what about DR and SR for engineers, who do not drive car in race.

I participated in both Spa-12 and Bahrain-8 events, so I am really looking for answers

Friday 10am 24 Hour Test Race - Split 1,
Hello everyone - we've exhausted what we can practically try mid-race with Friday 10am UTC split 1 for the 24 Hour test race.

It's very odd because networking is clearly running since you're able to drive but you're not able to join, so it's not processing new requests for some reason - and we've not seen it before in the previous test races. It may be connected to some other servers that started on the same physical machine - we've taken some steps to stop this happening tomorrow.

It's not been seen on split 2 or 3 so we will continue with the tests overnight and see where we are in the morning

For split 1 teams - you can continue running and we will look at how we deal with rating during the week

Edit: fwiw it's looking more likely to be an issue with Docker, the first we've ever seen and all our servers use Docker but most races don't require rejoins. It could be super rare and never happen again or it could be really common and we need to do something new to work around it. That's why testing is important and we appreciate you joining in on that.
