Hi everyone!

This is my second post here, and once again I'm reporting something very unpleasant.

I am an experienced 48-year-old driver, I've been in sim racing since the early days, I've won car simulation titles, and I've been champion in some important leagues, one of them being VEC, Virtual Endurance Championship ( Season 6 ).

Check my credentials, Rodrigo Borba / Target Racing Team :

Let's get to the facts :

I did an official silver race.

I have a good setup and I know the Porsche and Sebring well, and a lot of experience in sim racing, which naturally makes me perform well and have good lap times.

I got pole position during qualify in this race, fast lap, but normal, everything was fine.

I started in the lead and managed to position myself well to maintain P1.

The race went normally, without incident on my part, and I respected everyone on the track, both my classmates and the LMP2 prototypes.

I made my pit stop, refueled my car, and headed to the final part of the race, everything was fine, no incidental contact, as I always try to do in every race.

A few laps in, and just before the end of the race, a slow BMW on the pit straight for no reason tried to hit me. He missed the first attempt and followed me closely down the straight to turn 17, Sunset Bend. I thought he would ease off the accelerator and let me pass, but he accelerated even more and ended up intentionally destroying my car.

I didn't understand anything at all, because I hadn't hurt anyone or caused anything that would upset the people on the server.

When I finally abandoned the car due to DNF because it was completely wrecked, I read in the chat that this same guy was accusing me of being a cheater.

I am known for being a fair and decent driver during races.. Of course, disputes can happen, but nothing that would discredit me as a driver. I've never spun out or taken anyone out of the race to benefit myself.

So a guy like me, with only 20 years of sim racing experience, receives such a serious accusation and is automatically forcibly removed from a race, and worse, punished for doing nothing wrong.

I confess that this left me quite upset.

The guy's name is *****.

His country of origin in the game was Germany.

Looking at the replay, I saw that he had an incident in the first few laps and lost his rear wing.

He started in P15, I started in P1, I had nothing to do with the incident in question.

Soon after, he returned to the pits, but strangely didn't get a DNF ( Did Not Finish ).

A few laps later he returns to the track and decides that I'm a threat.

And then he completely destroyed me, thinking that was okay.

Even though I didn't do anything against anyone.

My only mistake was driving fast and doing good lap times.

I don't know if this guy felt frustrated and tried to take it out on me somehow, because the curious thing is that he dodged all the cars, just waited for me, and killed me.

Right after the incident I went into the chat and we discussed it, which is normal given that I felt wronged.

Sure, I protested in the game too, and I hope he doesn't get away with what he did.

Below is your name in the simulator and your avatar image :

Here is the incident where he was hit by another player ( not by me ) :

<removed>

Here's the video where he intentionally takes me out of the race, I was in first place and he was several laps behind.

I repeat, there was no reason for him to have hit me, I didn't do anything :

Since I'm an honest player and have never used prohibited features in any game, I'll also leave the link to the full replay here so that everyone can analyze it, including the developers :

<removed>

Thank you to everyone who took an interest in the post, and I hope things like this don't happen again.

And take care with this guy !

See you on the track !

1. There's no need to report race incidents on the forum. The reporting system is there to be used, reports get checked and people who intent wreck will get a holiday. (eventually they get a permanent holiday, if they don't stop)

2. Swearing at people isn't advisable, because they can report your swearing. Just report and move on; I personally wouldn't bother chatting with someone who intent wrecks, they aren't worth talking to.

3. You don't need to defend yourself (ie not using 'prohibited features') just because someone thinks you were based on your speed. If people think that's the case they can report using the same system.

Again, no need to put stuff like this on the forum or discord. A concise and clear report in the game is all you need.

I understand, and I hope this guy pays for what he did.

And that's terrible if we intend to maintain a healthy community.

There are many players like that; in fact, it's the second time it's happened to me, and on the same track.

As I said, there's nothing wrong with me; I'm a fair and dedicated player who chose this simulator to compete and have fun.

I'd like to know if it would be possible to be notified whenever a complaint is accepted after verification, so we can be sure that the bad guys will pay for their mistakes.

I hope you guys can do justice for us.

Thank you for your post Lazza.

I can vouch for swearing, I got a months ban after some idiot took me out, he got nothing as I would not stoop so low to report someone, it is basically grassing, snitching, not my way. . But it does happen. Read some posts on here and you will see. Some people love a report!!

Be warned it happens and even if someone took you out, they will report you if you have a dig at them, there are people like this who exist.

Being brutally honest I think they look down on chat griefing more than they actually give a damn about race incidents as they seem fairly keen on punishment, so be warned, just move on, the punishments are harsh and tough, something you will certainly not find in other similar titles.

Just do what a lot of the better drivers do now and just stay away from any daily races. The racing is abysmal. The rating system is just stupid and it's basically sim racing for people with Parkinsons and 1 functioning eye.

Just join decent, professional leagues. Then you can actually enjoy this game.

I removed it but in this case I can't see a ban for swearing even if it's reported, it wasn't that bad. I was just advising not to do it, to be on the safe side.

You only have your own experience to judge it by, which is fair enough, but it might not reflect the overall picture.
