Car specific FFB key assignment

In the context of LMU (and rF2), it is currently not feasible to map buttons directly to the vehicle-specific Force Feedback settings, a feature that is readily available in other simulations such as AC, ACC, and AMS2.

Consequently, when on the track, one must exit to the options menu to adjust this critical parameter, which hinders the ability to fine-tune the specific Force Feedback settings for each vehicle while in action.

Implementing this functionality should be relatively straightforward.

So, how would a user adjust the SAT in LMU ?
And if the answer is you can't, then I also satisfied, because I have found a somewhat suitable work around for excessive SAT.
The FFB is the simulated (calculated) steering column torque, so you can’t. There aren’t any individual effects, and therefore no sliders for them.
 
Since torque is party controlled by power, then lowering the power reduces the torque strength.
Maybe I misunderstood? I thought you were referring to SAT, ie from the tyre. The FFB centering force isn't usually (as far as I know) referred to as SAT.

Yes, if you lower the FFB (through steering torque sensivity) you'll have lower forces. If I appeared to be saying otherwise, I'll have to be more careful in future...
 
I think I finally have the LMDh "centering" to my comfort zone.
For the Toyota Gr010: Using the VRS DFP-20 Original FW
I started by lowering the in-game level, with no smoothing. 27 / 0
Then raised my base level up until it felt normal for me to drive and feel everything happening. 85
Then as a final tweak, I adjusted the wheel base damping until the centering was not pulling left and right excessively, even while holding the wheel with the light hands technique. 14
Additionally, I added Friction at 1, and Inertia at 10. And SFR at 6, and SR at Performance.
I now feel like I'm more in control of the steering in and out of corners, instead of fighting the wheel forces. I'm sure this is not optimal for everyone (and why should it be), but it suits me, and is more in line with what I feel from the other titles I use.

Thew BMW, the Aston, and other LMDh models had similar base profiles, but each one was slightly different, but all were now quite useable.
 
As a side note: After update 1.3.1.0, I no longer have the excessive centering and torque pull. Whatever S397 did, they did it right!

No longer need to run the LMUFFB app either.

Strange, I did a quick test yesterday, and it felt pretty much the same in my Fanatec DD, with excessive centering and woobling in straights.
I shut it down again and will wait till a more meaningful revision in the future.
 
I have done a small app with Node.js
Mobile web interface to adjust Force Feedback strength in Le Mans Ultimate in real time while driving.
you can up add +1,-1,+5,-5 % and you can center your stering wheel (it does in LMU not in the base app)


Just intall Node.js, (next next netx)

and exec webserver/start-lmu-ffb-control.bat file.
it will appear a windows with the app and the connecitnos urls


Enter any url in your phone and that is it
