Car Documentation

I am wondering, if there is a chance to get detailed documentation about the car features. I mean, we can drive the most complex race cars, but need to guess how to setup and use the cars. I think it could give a lot of benefit, if you would explain the buttons of the real cars, how to setup the car and how to get the best out of the hybrid system.

There are so many technical items, they could fill a WIKI site with screens explaining everything but I doubt we'll see much of that...

I'd agree with that.

There are so many technical items........

Yeah I don't need to know my gas comes from pig farts :D

I'd agree with that.

On a serious note a sticky thread of json tweaks in General could be popular.
Last time we tried it at ISI was a fizzer.

Best one I remember was for rFactor had every line but I can't find
Course rF, rF2 , LMU have variations but the base was good info.

In particular the data on Max safe oil / water temp, max safe rpm and designed engine life.
In this way teams can manage risk of failure vs speed.
This would have avoided the embarrassing (engine) failures in a high profile LeMans 24 hr event in RF2.
Also Failure thickness on brake discs.

It will never happen... all third party vendors peddling setups won't' be able to sell as much when people understand what to change in the setup for a specific car brand themselves ;)

Dude, they don't even bother to provide the same dash (DDU) pages the real cars have (like in ACC or AC EVO).
