I am wondering, if there is a chance to get detailed documentation about the car features. I mean, we can drive the most complex race cars, but need to guess how to setup and use the cars. I think it could give a lot of benefit, if you would explain the buttons of the real cars, how to setup the car and how to get the best out of the hybrid system.

it is costly, time consuming and out of date as soon as a car is updated. Small teams like S397 may not want to assign the resources needed for such items. iR has always had more $$ in the bank for features such as these.
 
For newbies at least thiy energy thingy would be good to be explained. I know a little about, but in deep - e.g. for the Glick - i dont know exactly what to do...how to setup ... and how to handle it while driving?!?
 
I feel a per car manual might not be necessary, but a manual on at least the game settings and car setups option would be great. At the moment I am just guess-timating a lot of things when a simple tooltip/manual could have clarified all of it.

And yes updates will require reviews of said manual, but that is what being professional is : doing a good quality job and documenting it properly.

I was about to scold you about expectations, but then I noticed you were part of the 'team.' :) The closest rF2 got to similar documentation was when Paul was running the online publicity and they would post blogs showcasing the upcoming new cars. Not very deep, certainly not technical. It will be awesome if S397 can produce something that would rival the iR car docs.

Audition: It's a durn guud kar that only FEELS like it's on ice. Just like all the other cars. If'n it were wrong they would fix it, am I right?

Eine sehr gute Idee oder zumindest wie in ACC eine Art Wiki machen
 
You lot obviously new to ISI protocols, some things never change :LOL:

I would not expect manuals from S397 either, happy to be wrong.
They had what 7/8 years to do a rF2 one, would it have helped sales ?

Punch that recommended rating up to 90%, add a few 1,000 reviews a month then we talk turkey.

I mean personally I would find a json manual better value.
