Ban System is terrible

Rememeber kids, a moderator said this. A person who is suppossed to be above reproach. This is an immature comment from someone who is supposed to determine what is within the comunication rules of the forum. I see this as an attack on the the person you replied to. This gibves a very clear indication on how this company views its customers.

The way I see it is when a moderator states the fact the Earth is round and the Flat Earther conspiracy theory believer sees that as a personal attack, then it's not the moderator who is wrong.

I’m Platinum 2 in the safety rank
=> Good you just know how to lap within the track limit....

I’m a very sensible and very cautious driver. But sometimes you just can’t defend yourself against the inevitable obstacles that come your way. And when you’re rammed from behind by someone in Lämmer Ultimate at Monza, at every chicane, just to push you off the track – and if you then let a player like that have a taste of their own medicine to show them
=> I'm a cautious driver but I want/just wreck them....
Something tell me you wreck someone.
So they can have a "taste of there own medicine" trying to be cautious but the AI pick your move as intent while the driver who bump you was unintentional (miss brake or something)

Always funny to see the same dude coming back with : Nya Nya Nya the system isn't fair, I'm always get ban.
While a tons of other driver are in Diamond and never get ban !

I have my share of contact AND i'm still in diamond. To be honest i still think diamond is a bit to lenient.
But with the system they have, they need to be since it's almost impossible to know each time who is at fault.

AC EVO said they do it. Let's see before saying they are the best....

They promise
- Open world RPG => In fact no... They can't do it....
- Nurb + city => Still no way near

So when i hear they crack the code and are top notch in AI stewards... This is the studio who can't code a basic opponent AI....
And they are now the best on stewards AI ???

Yeah I have strong doubt

The whole discussion is actually pointless, because as long as a system – and I’m absolutely convinced this one is AI-controlled – punishes both the person responsible and the victim equally, then this system is the biggest load of rubbish on God’s earth. You go to all that trouble to drive as carefully as possible, and then someone drives back onto the track after an accident and cuts right in front of your car, and you get points deducted – that can’t be right. I’ ’ve now been banned, even though I’m Platinum 2 in the safety rank – which actually says it all: I’m a very sensible and very cautious driver. But sometimes you just can’t defend yourself against the inevitable obstacles that come your way. And when you’re rammed from behind by someone in Lämmer Ultimate at Monza, at every chicane, just to push you off the track – and if you then let a player like that have a taste of their own medicine to show them, ‘Look, that’s not how it’s done’ – then they report you and you get banned for it – that’s just ridiculous and completely destroys any motivation to improve. To put it simply and succinctly, it’s the crappiest system there is, yet it would be so easy to get it back on the right track. But that would mean taking the AI out and putting real people in to judge the situations – but that would be far too expensive, and then they wouldn’t make any money off us anymore

I will clarify a few things for you as it seems you may not understand the current systems in place.

  • Badges (more info here): The game detects contact with other drivers (on a no fault basis as their isn't a system to detect fault) and contact with barriers. If a driver has too many contacts their badge will change appropriately on a rolling 10 race average.
  • LiveSteward (more info here): AI which detects incidents, chops a video out of a replay and sends to the human stewards for manual review.
  • In game reporting (more info here): Users reporting for intentional wrecking, griefing, chat toxicity etc...

Those are the current ways LMU processes any kind of ban. There is no AI making the decisions and apportioning blame. I hope that makes things clearer.

Well consider that being fast helps, when you are slow, like me, and get passed often and sometimes hit you get some extra collisions in your record...
I can speak for Nectaria but i'm in the low 103%. So i'm not fast and are really often overtake and i don't have that much collision.
I have team member arround the 104-105 mark and they don't have collision either.

When you know that X is coming and faster than you, you can just lift off throttle in the straigth.
I almost never saw a fast driver divebombing like crazy a blue flag. (they tend to wait 1 turn)

IMHO: this is not good. If you hit a wall, scratch it, or a cone or any immovable, not interferring with somebody else, or above all if you are hit and pushed against a wall it should not matter.
