The Ban system is broken. I am fairly certain its run by AI. Also the fact that we have no say, no appeal makes it even worse.
They are called different things, so why make them resemble each other completely and totally? Making it sems like the same progression is possible?
That was not my point, my POINT was that it is clear WHY the differences exist.
This online game is rubbish. I just got out of a one day ban and my first 2 races back i already have high contact....
First race back. Spa. Started from pit. Let everyone else go so i can just finish. 4 laps in I'm coming down the back end and come across a car that spun out. Car rejoins and i swerve in as car goes to outside and it swerves into my line causing me to crash and spin into barrier. DNF.
Second race. 2 people spun out infront of me, Did not have time to get out of way. 2 laps later someone rear ends me sending me into barrier. DNF.
It's getting to the point where I'm just staying away from any one else. If it looks like I'm catching someone .. I just slow down and let them go.. If someone is coming up on me, I just pull to the side and let them through. This is not racing.... Ban me... Don't really care... I'll go pay for Iracing.
At least it will not ban me from a game I paid for, for someone else's tantrum. Nor will it ban me for an accidental collision. Nor will It ban me for an error in judgement and losing it on a corner. But having to pull over every time a car is in my POV is ridiculous. As IRacing is any better?
A simulation doesn't magically become any better when people lack the most basics of racecraft. In both scenarios you should have seen yellow flags, why not slow down a bit so you have time to anticipate?
Did you bother to read my above post? or just come in randomly and throw your 2cents in.It doesn't ban you for doing that once, it bans you for doing that enough times over the last 10 races that you're in the worst 0.1% of all players.
Mate people are trying to help you but I think I'm seeing the problem hereDid you bother to read my above post? or just come in randomly and throw your 2cents in.

saw a lot idiots in this forum, game but i think you are top3 . even if lmu would stick you an broomstick in your … you would be happy that they didnt stick 2 of them at same time.. so you play racing games to start from pits, avoid any opponents,24/7 ready to drive 20 mph to not be involved in any crash, and even if that happens you are a ghost and nobody is able to touch your car..It doesn't ban you for doing that once, it bans you for doing that enough times over the last 10 races that you're in the worst 0.1% of all players.

If you think you're going to get anywhere/anything by going around to random threads and responding to factual statements with stuff like this, you're mistaken. The whole discussion is actually pointless, because as long as a system – and I’m absolutely convinced this one is AI-controlled – punishes both the person responsible and the victim equally, then this system is the biggest load of rubbish on God’s earth. You go to all that trouble to drive as carefully as possible, and then someone drives back onto the track after an accident and cuts right in front of your car, and you get points deducted – that can’t be right. I’ ’ve now been banned, even though I’m Platinum 2 in the safety rank – which actually says it all: I’m a very sensible and very cautious driver. But sometimes you just can’t defend yourself against the inevitable obstacles that come your way. And when you’re rammed from behind by someone in Lämmer Ultimate at Monza, at every chicane, just to push you off the track – and if you then let a player like that have a taste of their own medicine to show them, ‘Look, that’s not how it’s done’ – then they report you and you get banned for it – that’s just ridiculous and completely destroys any motivation to improve. To put it simply and succinctly, it’s the crappiest system there is, yet it would be so easy to get it back on the right track. But that would mean taking the AI out and putting real people in to judge the situations – but that would be far too expensive, and then they wouldn’t make any money off us anymoreThe Ban system is broken. Every "big" sim has either an automated no-fault system like LMU, or dedicated stewards to take care of incidents like LFM.The whole discussion is actually pointless, because as long as a system – and I’m absolutely convinced this one is AI-controlled – punishes both the person responsible and the victim equally, then this system is the biggest load of rubbish on God’s earth.
Being plat 2 on its own is not enough to say you are careful in races. You could've done dozens of races starting from the pits and that's it.I’m Platinum 2 in the safety rank – which actually says it all: I’m a very sensible and very cautious driver.
Funny you say that. They're hiring a dedicated steward RIGHT NOW. You have no facts besides your own made up opinions and it shows. But that would mean taking the AI out and putting real people in to judge the situations – but that would be far too expensive, and then they wouldn’t make any money off us anymore
"I've been told how it works but I wanna stamp my feet anyway"
Yay. Good job.
