  • Hypercar toggle
When driving a hypercar, all the specific information (Brake migration, Anti roll bars, Motor map, Regeneration and Battery status) are automatically shown, replacing the track status, laps and position widgets. If you wish to see the current session information, you can toggle off a part of the Hypercar UI with ACTION C.

    • Strategy: Shows stint related information as well as a prediction of the next pitstop length.

install.png

0. If you were using previous updates of the dashboard or have the Redadeg plugin installed
  • AFX Dash now uses Neored and LMU Electronic Bridge. For the dashboard to function properly, remove the following plugins form your SimHub installation folder (for example: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub) :

    LMU_WeatherPlugin.dll
    Redadeg.lmuDataPlugin.dll
1. Install and enable SimHub Plugins
  • AFX Dash needs two SimHub plugins to function properly ; Neored and LMU Electronic Bridge. All necessary files are included in the AFX Dash archive, inside of the "Simhub Plugins" folder.

  • Copy the following files into your main SimHub installation folder (for example: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub). Overwrite if asked :

    LMUElectronicBridge.dll
    NeoRed.lmuDataPlugin.dll
    LMU_SessionDataPlugin.dll
    LMU64Bridge.exe
enable plugins.png

2. Configure LMU Electronic Bridge
  • In order for the dashboard to register any electronic change (TC, TC CUT, TC SLIP, ABS, BB, MAP, REGEN, BMIG, FARB, RARB), LMU Electronic Bridge has to be configured correctly.

  • In the plugin's menu (located on the left of the window), ASSIGN FOR EACH ELECTRONIC VALUE THE SAME BUTTON YOU USE IN LE MANS ULTIMATE TO INCRESE/DECREASE IT. This will allow for a full synchronisation between the dashboard and the game.
bridge.png

3. Install and Enable AFX Dash
  • Double-click the dashboard file (.simhubdash file) to install it in SimHub.

  • If you use the dashboard on your screen, Open SimHub, go to "Dash Studio", then "Dashboards", and enable the AFX Dash.

  • If you use the dashboard on a dedicated DDU, Open SimHub, go the "Devices", select your DDU and select the AFX Dash for the dropdown menu.
4. Configure Actions
  • In order to control the dashboard and use all of it's features (Widgets, Damage menu, Hypercar mode), you will need to assign buttons to the ACTION A,B,C,D functions.
  • If you use the dashboard on your screen, go to "Dash Studio", then "Controls", and assign your controls for each ACTION.

  • If you use the dashboard on a dedicated DDU, go to "Devices", select your DDU, then go to "Controls", and assign your controls for each ACTION.
That's it ! You have now successfully installed the AFX Dashboard. Have fun !

This dashboard wouldn't have been possible without the excellent plugins made by Haagel (NeoRed) and nikolaiNr7 (LMU Electronic Bridge). Thanks a lot to them for their amazing work !

Thanks to thekingm249 for his excellent AIO Dashboard, that inspired both visually and technically some aspects of my dashboard !

Thanks to TiboTake for the track wetness script that he provided for the dashboard.

And finally THANK YOU for trying out my dashboard. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy your time using it !

Update 1.1 Changelog

  1. Fixed a visual issue in the Sectors widget.
  2. Fixed Penalty alarm hiding energy levels when in Hypercar mode.
  3. Updated pit limiter and race start limiter color changing behavior and palette.
  4. Updated the fuel saving emoji activation threshold (from 5% throttle & brake to 10%) to make it appear less often (only when you are really wasting fuel).

Hi, thanks for doing this. I've had a bit of a run with it and will use it as my main dashboard for a bit and see how it goes.

Some comments based on personal opinion, i have a few old phones stuck to my rig which hold dashboards for lap times and relative timings, so I'm pretty specific about what I need in the main dash.
  • Thanks for making the emoji easy to remove, I didn't like that
  • I copied the main widget so that I could alter which screens are available on each side. It was a bit much for my tiny brain to scroll through all those screens so I have all the timing stuff + strategy on one side, and the tyres and fuel on the other.
  • I removed the telemetry, I use the tinypedal one which has dots for where traction is lost etc but the idea of having it in this dash is pretty cool, just not for me.
Thanks again, nice work.

Thank you for taking the time to try out my dash and for your suggestions !

I will push the 1.2 update later today, in which the fuel saving emoji will be disabled by default, and I might separate the information displayed by each widget as you recommended.

I thing the fuel saving thing was interesting and probably useful, but for me it was a bit too full on, like a flashing border or indicator would be fine but the emoji kind of takes over the whole dash which I found distracting.

It was a really funny easter egg I have to admit... I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me haha

I might try to revisit the idea and make it appear under different conditions which would make more sense ! But yeah, according to the feedback I received, it seems to take people out of the experience, which was not the goal in the first place.

Are there any other recommendations or ideas you think would make the dash better ?

I'll let you know how it goes, early signs are that it's pretty cool. I tend to tinker with stuff alot so I need to just run some laps and get a feel for it.
Nice one thanks again!

A tiny, ergonomy kind of suggestion, maybe keep the BB in the same position between the layouts. I.E. swap the BB and REG in the hypercar layout.

I think, it is/was a good decision to have the motor map and reg (motor related) together in one place and bb and brake mig (brake related) together in another place.

I understood the grouping logic, but, think about what happens if you drive one class for a while then switch to the other. All the other common elements remain in place, just BB moves elsewhere.
Actually it woudn't even be a problem if the hypercar layout would have been completely different.

Update 1.2 Changelog

  1. Disabled fuel saving emoji by default (you can enable it in the editor).
  2. Moved Brake Bias in Hypercar layout to match LMGT3 layout.
  3. Separated Left and right widgets (left widget shows SECTORS, INTERVAL, LAP DELTA and STRATEGY, right widget shows TIRES, POWER and TELEMETRY)
  4. Global UI color tweaks for a more cohesive appearance.
  5. Electronics status font size decreased.
  6. Engine OFF blinking effect adjusted.
  7. Fixed rain % not working.
  8. Rewrote tire temperature colors scripts.
  9. Rewrote DELTA widget scripts.
  10. Rewrote SECTORS widget scripts.
  11. Rewrote G-Meter scripts.
  12. Rewrote fuel usage scripts (laps estimates will now show after 1 valid lap instead of 5 in certain cases).
  13. Credited thekingm249 for the inspiration taken from his excellent AIO Dashboard.
The file size is now too big for me to be able to put it directly on a post. You can check out and download my AFX Dashboard here.

Update 1.3 Changelog

  1. Fixed wrong Dashboard version published. Apologies to anyone who downloaded 1.2, it was my personal version, which is of way lower quality than the regular releases. You should expect to see all 1.2 updates in this version, as well as the following changes.
  2. Fix for German/French engine map names.
  3. Rewrote the SECTORS widget scripts from scratch, for better readability throughout the lap (Some work is still needed for Practice/Qualify sessions).
  4. Rewrote the Fuel/VE laps estimator. It will now calculate even faster.
  5. Added a position gain/loss animation and color shift.
  6. Replaced air humidity value with average track wetness. Thanks to TiboTake for his implementation.
  7. Changed appearance of G-meter in the TELEMETRY widget.

During the game, I am unable to change any interface for action A and B. I have set action ABCD and other control keys in SimHub, but they still have no effect.

That's quite strange, but I have an idea of what might be causing it. Depending on where you run your dashboard (on your normal screen vs a dedicated DDU), the control keys are located differently.

If you run the dashboard on a dedicated DDU, you have to map your Action A,B,C,D in:
Devices --> Controls

If you run the dashboard as an overlay on top of your game, you have to map your Action A,B,C,D in:
Dash studio --> Controls

Let me know if it fixes it :)

I have now mapped the buttons to the Conspit CSD instrument, and fortunately, it works. However, after binding them to my Simagic GTneo buttons in SimHub, there is no response at all. I don't understand why, but at least one device can be used normally. Thank you very much.B0E3626576663AF8E54D3E4F6855B9BA.jpgD881FA55D9DA404EA4D8BF000BC173AA.jpg
