I like to do my practice online, and at the moment I have to wait until registration opens for a particular series to get on to a server.

I think practice servers should be open for the duration of the week, for each combo. This should help with the constant surge back and forth for practice servers, as well as giving people more time to concentrate on a series.

Occasionally, my friends and I would like to run some laps together on various tracks outside of the scheduled race events. Is it possible to introduce a dedicated practice server area within the online section? Such an addition is likely to increase both the frequency and duration of player engagement on a daily basis.

sometimes, i don't want to practice on prototype fixed, i want to practice on GTe fixed, but i can't.

only on offline, but on this mode, i can practice on wrong conditions
for intermediates on this week theres a rain race, and every time that i got in the simulator, it was running the hyper car fixed, so i didn't have the chance to practice on that conditions.

i post it the same on another topic, and some peoples has feed back the same wish.
 
Yes, I'd like to see that. There are sometimes races that I'm not so interested in where I would rather practice for one of the other ones.

Mi scuso se questo argomento è già stato trattato. Sono un amministratore di una comunità che sta organizzando una mini lega. Gli host sono già stati creati e prenotati, ma il problema per noi è impostare i server per allenarci per la competizione.
Non potete offrire una sorta di abbonamento settimanale a un prezzo riservato alla nostra comunità?

would be great to have generally practice server
the actually tracks and not only for 20 minutes. thats pointless.
when i had a race and think about to go on a practice server,
we always have only some minutes before the
server closed and we're be kicked off the server .
pointless!!!
 
Has S397 ever commented on this topic? Why the hell can't they get it right? Don't they want to because then their business model with the rental servers will be attacked? 24/7 training servers for the dailies are an established standard in every sim and are simply part of it, it's bad that you have to discuss it at all.

I would love to have permanent online Training Servers!
Not just 10 min. or so before a Daily Race, because I wanted to explain some things to my friend, who is completely new to Simracing, and whe needed to hop from Server to Server and couldn't achieve really anything. + I don't think the people training for an incoming Race really what complet Noobs in their Server.
One extra recommendation by me is dont name them "Training 1/2/3" but "Training Beginner/Advanced/Professional" , because this makes it easier and more intuitive!

💯 agree. I’ve been saying this for a while now. It’s so frustrating waiting through all the load up phase to get into a server. Adjust the car setup and onto track only to have the server abruptly end and kick me out after barely a lap even though the main race doesn’t start for another 23mins 🤯🤬

We NEED practice servers running 24/7 for the weeks schedule. They can reset every hour, that’s fine but ally least when we sign in we will have an accurate gauge of how long we have in the sessions.
 
Yes, there should be longer lasting Practice Servers atleast for the current Schedule, maybe starting Mondays already for the coming Weeks Schedule. These short Practice Sessions are not good, you get into the flow and then the Server stops already, hopping to the next Server, starting from the Beginning... make it 2 Hourse, then resetting. Population is not a Problem I think because some are leaving anyways to join a Session.
 
Oui, un serveur d'entraînement toujours disponible est une bonne idée ; ce serait sympa de faire des tours de piste avec des amis sans passer par les compétitions officielles. J'aurais pensé qu'ils l'auraient déjà mis en place.

I don't think they'll do it since they are making us pay ON TOP of a subscription to run the practice servers ..
 
The practice servers need to be at least 30 minutes, really more, especially for RaceControl Pro subscribers. It's advertised you get longer practice sessions with the subscription and it's misleading. Half the time, the 'extended' practice servers don't even let you join. And when you're finally able to join, you're kicked in the middle of your first lap becuase the server has closed.

No, that is not correct, there's no difference advertised in the practice servers between RCLite and RCPro (or RCPro+). What is advertised as extra compared to RC Lite is "Extended Registration".
