    DLSS or FSR support?

If LMU wasn't headed for console, I'd agree with you. But with S397 openly working towards porting LMU to console, they're heavily incentivized to optimize this fork of the RF2 engine so that they don't need to degrade the experience (remember how ACC was on console). You can see they're already...

    DLSS or FSR support?

I disagree. With drive towards a console version, that opens a lot of doors that would have otherwise remained closed. Vulkan/DX12, along with upscaling (FSR4?) in some form, seem much more plausible after whatever adaptations they're making for console (think PS5 + PSSR).

I'm pretty sure in my case it truly was a networking problem on my end. I carefully monitored a continuous ping to my router from my PC and was able to correlate LMU's network drops with my own network. I replaced a bunch of cabling between my PC and the nearest switch, updated my NIC drivers...

    DLSS or FSR support?

I wish were the case, but you'd be surprised how frequently it is not.

    DLSS or FSR support?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the rendering pass is already decoupled from the physics in LMU, and most other realistic simulators. Otherwise, the physics simulation calculation becomes a function of frame rate (which is variable), and we've seen how problematic this can...

    DLSS or FSR support?

I didn't say the latency cost was zero. Just that it becomes a diminishing factor at higher base framerates. It's especially going to be difficult to ever perceive a difference in a sim racing title, where your controls are analog devices.

    DLSS or FSR support?

This is correct. FrameGen shows real value on displays ~240 Hz and above with higher frame rates (100+) with very little to no perceivable downside. It's when you're trying to uplift from low frame rates (for example, 30 fps -> 60 fps) that you may hit noticeable latency issues.

I'm sorry, but this is nonsense. Especially artificially limiting your bandwidth (don't do that). The only situation where that *might* help here is if there is a failure in his networking equipment, but even then you'd have to lower the link speeds to match.

Set up a constant ping to your router (typically 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.0.1), and to google (8.8.8.8). ping -t 8.8.8.8 You should never see any dropped replies, error messages, etc. If you see missed pings around the same time as your kick, then you know it was the internet connection and...

Resolved I cant see my liveries in game

Is this just a temporary situation? Will we get our custom liveries in practice sessions eventually? And what about single player?

AFAICT the only time I've seen them comment on mid-session disconnects they assume it's an issue on the client/user side. Here are some things that I recommend trying. The idea here is to disable any kind of power-saving, or any kind of NIC feature that could potentially disrupt the connection...

That tracert I shared was from my end. I'm in New England in the USA, so my packets are having to travel quite a bit further :). I traced the IP in your log to the Netherlands. Still pretty close to you though. I think you might be onto something regarding IPV6. I disabled it on my PC's NIC...

I keep getting disconnects too. It's not every race, but about once for every 5 races. I'm seeing no lag or warping. The ping feature in the game shows a ping somewhere between 80-100ms to the server. I have a constant ping -t going in the background to 8.8.8.8, and shows I haven't lost...
