Triple Screen Rendering on Ultrawide (Samsung G9)

Hi, I do this with success in several sims, but it does not work in LMU nor RF2 at all. Multiview greyed out, settings in the .ini are ignored.
Am I missing something simple?? Would really like to get it working!

If you've set it up as triples you may have multiview on; in that case you can configure the "screens" with Ctrl + = (equals sign) when in the car. FOV is only adjustable when using a single screen.

That worked! Thanks for the quick help!

Could someone explain this to me like I’m 5. Just got myself a MSI 49” UW OLED. Do I just copy and paste from the OP into my DX11.ini file, then I’ll be able to use the ingame menu using the CTRL SHFT = shortcut?

Yes, should work.
After that you will be able to adjust IN CAR with CTRL= (no SHFT in my case).

Measure your screen and eye distance to finetune but take note, the values are in METERS! I got that wrong the first time but now it works great, hardly any performance loss. I have a 49" single screen.

So I finally managed to try this tonight. Works great, only the setting to compensate for the curvature gives me a slight blur/inconsistent image where the sim thinks each screen begins/ends, as if there's a bezel free kit there. Is this just how it is or have I done something wrong? If this is just how it is, think I'll put up with slight distortion at the edges. It's very off-putting.

Be nice if they could just implement the view settings ACC has.

Screenshot?

What if create a custom res is greyed out? W11, iv goggled and tried most of their fixes.
'Just' edit the Config_DX11.ini file for LMU, add your custom res in there. I didn't think the UI was able to do that at all. Or did you mean in windows itself?

I’ve done that but then control and equal doesn’t work and if I select borderless in game it just greys out the res at 5120 instead of 5118. I meant in Nvidia control panel itself in my post, yes

Generally if you're editing the file, just edit the file. Don't try to adjust/select resolution in the game. One or both of the subviews parameters should be set to 2 in that case, to enable multiview and therefore allow the triple tool in the game (Ctrl+Equals)

So both are 2 on the code to copy and paste so I’m not sure what ya mean? U know we r talking about the g9 and not actual triples? In rf2 u set a res of 5118x1440 as it had to be divisible by 3? For lmu there is nowhere to do this hence why on page 1 of this thread they talk about creating a custom res in Nvidia which I cannot do?

Down the bottom of the config file is a custom res parameter. Put it in there.

Hello,

anyone who's interested in rendering your game in tripple mode on your Ultrawide Screen, these are the settings for yor DX11.ini. Thanks to @WhippyWhip who provided me with the Parameters for the G9 and a lot of Info on the Subject. The settings are Plug an Play, but you can still adjust with the tripple tool ingame. Also eye distance needs to be changed depending on your setup.

There is one tiny Problem when you run with 5120x1440 you get a little black line between middle and right screen. Running in 3840x1080 fixes that. You can run the 1440p but your horizontal res needs to be divisible by 3 to not have the black line. (maths needed, not my strong suit)

SubViews=2
UseSubViewParams=2
WorkaroundFlags=0
ViewParams=(0.401, 0.340, 0.740, 23.000, 0.000) // screen width (m), screen height (m), eye distance (m), side angle (deg), bezel gap (m)
LeftView=(0.401, 0.340, 0.740, 23.000, 0.000)
RightView=(0.401, 0.340, 0.740, 23.000, 0.000)
"the tripple tool ingame" where is this tool ?? ( or maybe i'm stupid)hehe
