TC Settings

Will a dev please come in here and clear this up?? Which makes the car looser, higher Slip number or lower slip number? If you read the hovering text, it seems like a lower number will make the car slip less and thus make the car tighter on throttle. This is opposite of what overall TC and TC Cut do. For those it's obvious, higher number equals more intrusion from tthe system and thus a tighter car. Lower numbers allow more tire spin and the car is therefore looser.

Tbh there’s only one person in this thread who seems confused and has thus confused everything for everyone else. So yeah, we really need a Dev to clear this up for everyone. All I know is, and have assumed through what I’ve FELT in the game, lower TC values mean the same across all three settings in game. Lower numbers mean less intervention. Lower setting for TC slip means MORE slip. That’s exactly how it feels.

Traction Control
Sets the threshold for allowed longitudinal slip (for example wheelspin) before traction control activates. A higher setting allows for less slip before it activates.

Traction Control Slip Angle
Sets the threshold for allowed lateral slip (for example sliding) before traction control activates. A higher setting allows for less slip before it activates.

Traction Control Power Cut
Sets the strength of traction control interference (how much throttle is taken away from your own input) when either of the above thresholds is reached. A higher setting will interfere more.
