Seat Pitch?

First thing I would do...
Spare SSD, fresh OS no tools no nothing, path to existing steam, install fresh LMU
Dude, spare yourself, what you wrote here is a meme. I'm a software developer with 20+ years of experience. It doesn't work like that.
Even if I can make it work (and probably I could, but in a way not even close to what you describe above) doesn't mean there is no bug. If several people can reproduce it (even if it works for some others) the bug exists. And I'm not payed to debug what causes it exactly.

Do you really reinstall your OS every time you encounter a single bug in a single game? You must lead a sad life. Or do you just recommend to other people to make their life miserable?

Listen, I am not speaking just to you but anyone that cares to listen to my humble no matter left field advice.
I speak up and take insults rather then see people sad for days.

Did I say I do that ? and why you got to be personal ? I have sad, miserable life ? lol

I do fresh OS at will, I will wait a few driver sets, firmware and cumulative updates.
It takes me no time my system, that is why I think so little of trying it.
Most certainly every time I do fresh W11 I have found new things to try.
I am running in a new sim tower and also new to W11 so doing a OS once a month or so is not uncommon to me
Like I said takes me 2 hours to get 101% down to the last icon and I am driving again.
Getting old 4am mornings sometime I find fresh OS with Tea very relaxing.

Least you can say you try everything ;)
Like AB, sometimes uninstalling tools and apps does not produce same effect because of left behind files and registry.

Again not preaching to you, just anyone cares.

I drive on single monitor. No Triples.

And i dont wanna have a GME solution or something like this. This has to be fixed fot all users. Even this one who are not common with GME, json ore stuff like this.

You mean it is a standard bug for some, created by what ?

change Nothing don't add a wheel or anything else don't change any settings whatsoever
Go straight to Sebring without setting anything just click click click

Does pitch work ?

Unless you try this you have no baseline, no process of elimination
But better to spend days wishing and hoping
Unfortunately today fresh os means tons of bloatware starting automatically with windows.

I really can't imagine reinstalling Windows once a month - the very idea fills me with dread. I think I've only ever reinstalled Windows twice in 30 years and then only where I had serious pc problems. But if it floats your boat....... ;)

Have you try binding a macro on your keyboard (or button box if you have one) which make itself Shift+FOV+ and another one for Shift+FOV- ? Since I do it and stop using manually shift + my FOV bind, this issue disappear, hope it will work for you

Just wanted to note that this fixed the problem for me - I bound it to a button on my wheel using Joy2Key. It seems the issue is related to how long the RShift key is held down each time you press it on your keyboard: it seems that by default the keyboard holds it down too long, but if I press RShift + FOV as fast as I can (just once), it will usually trigger the pitch change, but not otherwise. But binding to my wheel works perfectly.

It seems to be very difficult to simply assign a key for pitch in the settings menu. Likewise, I can't understand why the seat isn't fully released forwards and backwards. Where is the problem ? And logically it is then saved via car. The others can do it too. . FFB by car, Formula 1 vintage 1980 could do that.

I have LMU installed 2 times. One in my office, where i test the dashes i make and one at home in my playroom, where i drine...

My problem: I really need to adjust the seat pitch and it works absolutely fine in my office (of course no whell installed) with rightShift+FOV +/- keys.

At home on my racing PC it doesnt work. This drives me crazy.

Anyone else had this issues?
Left Shift+FoV does it for me, Right Shift does nothing when I combo with fov binds

Works for me until i connect a controler. Then it stops working.

@Edith
When i conect my Buttonbox where ic have configured the FOV buttons, then the left shift sops working

Do i turn on my Fanatec McLaren GT3 (DD1) then not even the right shift works.,

Crazy, but left + right shift work until button box is connected, the only right shift works. with wheel, no shift key works LOL
