I hope I didn't missed that topic somewhere... At least the search results were quite empty.

With a brand new Moza KS wheel, I cannot make the rotary switches to work. I was surprised because I thought, these are quite common for many of you out there already. Can you please implement them working?

EDIT
I didn't miss the search function but it was still my fault 🫣
I Pit house you need to select the right setting, called "knob mode".

@mod: Could you please either delete this post or put it to the correct place? Thank you 🙏

I "THINK" the S397 sims only see rotary switches as + or -. So you can increase or decrease a setting click by click, but you can't rotate the knob to(for example) position 6

There is also a setting for the rotary switches in (some of) the wheel’s original settings menu (how their input is perceived) I had to change those in both my Fanatec and Ascher wheel setting to make the rotary switches properly work both in ACC and in LMU.

Why this post is marked as resolved whereas it's absolutely not the case?
We need rotary knobs suported for Mza KS at least, don't know if it works for other wheels

The game doesn't support position-based encoder/rotary input. It's just one 'button' for up and another for down.

I certainly hope that changes one day, but at this point that's how it is. It doesn't matter which wheel you have.

I think, that is not completely correct. It seems working, but not correct. I have a Fanatec McLaren wheel V1. When I bind TC and ABS to the rotary encoders (in Wheel "Auto Mode" for the rotarys), the TC/ABS positions can count up and down. But I need to choose the highest value first and than go back to zero when I'm starting in the pit. Unfortunately the game doesn't store this. I have to do this every time when I start the car. This is at least unusable.
So, I hope for a fix to use the rotary function soon.

Well, sure, if you manually calibrate it, it 'works' 😂
