I know some of these ideas may have already been suggested. However, since it has been a long time since I last made a suggestion—and given the many great changes the developers have made to the game—I would like to humbly share my final six suggestions here, summarized in a single post, along with the reasons why I believe they have merit.
- Ability to reposition HUD elements (this will be very helpful for moving the speedometer out of the way of certain mirrors and aligning in-game HUD items with third-party ones).
- Ability to choose between having only the car's rearview mirror or the virtual one active, rather than both simultaneously. (Having only one active—such as just the car's mirror—significantly improves FPS performance compared to having both enabled.)
- Better force feedback for G29 steering wheels. (Personally, I really like the style found in Project Motor Racing, EVO, and even RaceRoom.) In those titles, it helps us more when it comes to correcting the car.
- Option to switch between car dashboard pages (this really helps avoid using too many HUDs for those who aren't big fans of them).
- Option to individually adjust the volume of different game elements. (Being able to distinguish between tire noise, opponents, and your own engine really helps with driving.)
- Option to use high and low beams, in addition to the running lights that remain permanently on (for better visibility of the road during the day's changing light conditions)
Thank you all from Studio 397. And thank for the community which supports LMU each day more.
