Moddable HUD

This absolutely needs doing. There are two things specifically I'm interested.

1) I'd like it if the class standings could be moved into a page on the MFD, or at least have the option to do this.

2) With number 1 implemented the MFD to be decoupled from the HUD as when I'm out on track all the information I need is in here. This way I can just scroll left and right to get to the page I need or have it off so nothing is on screen. Anything else is is just an unnecessary distraction to me and immersion killer (once VR support arrives). In other words, please just make it operate the way it does in ACC or iracing.

Thanks Stephen

MFD is a vital source of data for pit and basic functions of the car itself. this needs to be separate from the General hud the ability to have only the MFD showing and no others hud options is a basic must for this sim to take it to the next level ( ie team events etc )

The actual HUD is obviously made for console, and will probably not change for a moment.

Go for SimHub or other third part software and do whatever you want/can.

There are a few limitations, but just get back the "native" HUD, do what you have to do, like Pits, and turn it Off back.

I would love to have the Pits menu standalone. Only wish i would have on LMU's HUD.

TinyPedal, SimHub, RacelabApps will always do a better job than game developers. Developers always have other priorities, even more with LMU.

Go to the post on API limitations for plugins, and like or insist on the need to add more data for external apps, which will do whatever you want.

It's even worst since the last update. Now i can't even use a simhub HUD because disabling the in-game HUD also removes warning/track limits and flags/ notifications...
+ the in game HUD is really poorly optimized CPU and GPU wise compared to a simhub one.

Ok, so it seems devs made some modifications to the HUD, you can disable almost all HUD elements individually appart from track map and relative.
You can edit these settings in the settings file "\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\player\Settings.JSON"
Just switch to false to disable an HUD element.

Ok, this is something, useful, but not perfect yet...

I managed to remove the relative, the only thing I couldn't remove was the trackmap.

I really don't think they get it sometimes what we would prefer, its not about just being able to turn stuff off or on, its about the size and individual bits of the hud..
I hope that's where they end up, but that's a lot more work than 'just' turning things on or off. I'd probably not expect that until we get past the initial bug fixing phase.
