LMU Stats Viewer - Web App

Hi @cparfait. I noticed on the references page I cannot access the sub columns of each category (all tracks, all classes....). There is only a red frame appearing with no chance to select anything. Thanks anyhow - I got you a coffee on PayPal :coffee:

🏁 LMU Stats Viewer v1.0.5

━━━━━━━━━━ 🇬🇧 English ━━━━━━━━━━

This update is mostly about things that were quietly broken. If you use the
app regularly, there's a good chance at least one of these was annoying you.

🖱️ Drop-down menus work again
Some of you could never open the filters — on References, Sessions, Setups,
anywhere. You'd click, a coloured frame would light up around the field, and
no list would ever appear. The app was letting Windows draw those lists, and
on some setups (typically several screens with different scaling) they ended
up off-screen or empty. The app now draws every menu itself, so they open
where you'd expect. Big thanks to the person who reported this — it turned
out to affect every page, not just the one they found.

🛡️ Your data is safer
- Purging empty sessions could, in one specific case, delete your entire
history from disk. It can't anymore.
- Setups are now written safely, with a backup copy kept. A crash or an
antivirus can no longer leave you with a .svm the game refuses to load.
Edits also start from the real file, so changes made in-game aren't
silently overwritten.
- Exporting a setup now asks where to save it.
- The app no longer closes on its own when opening certain telemetry files.

🏎️ The driving coach got a lot less annoying
- Wheelspin and lockups are now measured instead of guessed.
- "Lift and coast" no longer repeats all race long.
- Tyre fade warnings stop firing on normal lap-to-lap variation.
- Track-limit warnings now name the corner you actually cut.
- Your corner-by-corner progress is kept instead of thrown away.
- After a game update, a new reference lap can be recorded again.
- The voice no longer talks over your braking, no longer goes quiet when
you're alone on track, and survives a session change.

🤖 AI assistant
Long analyses are no longer cut off mid-sentence, accented characters no
longer turn into garbage, and provider errors are shown instead of an empty
answer. Your API key can no longer end up visible in an error message.

✨ Also
- You can skip the welcome screen and look around without having Le Mans
Ultimate installed.
- No more stutters in-game after closing an overlay.

Bug reports are very welcome — that's exactly how the menu issue was found.

Tu as déjà l'app ?

Thanks for quick fix again.

🏁 LMU Stats Viewer v1.0.6

Small update, but two things that were genuinely missing.

🖥️ Overlays on any screen
Until now they were locked to the main display: you simply could not drag a
widget onto a second monitor. The overlay layer now spans your whole desktop.
Turn on Edit Mode and drop them wherever you like. Existing layouts are
untouched, and each overlay now shows its screen number (the one Windows
displays with "Identify").

🇺🇸 US Track Pack 2
Long Beach and Road Atlanta are supported: flags, setup folders, and most of
all the track map shipped with the app. The outline used to be learned by
driving, so the map stayed empty on your first visit — not anymore.

🔄 Fixed
A session driven while the app was open was correctly imported, but the
Sessions and Records pages kept showing the old list until you touched a
filter. It looked like the session had been missed. Sorted.

The update offers itself automatically if you're already on 1.0.5.

Still a solo project, built between two trips into the gravel. Feedback welcome 🙂

🏁 LMU Stats Viewer v1.0.6

🇺🇸 US Track Pack 2

Retours bienvenus 🙂

Appreciate the response.
I use a quest 3 with virtual desktop and open xr.
I would love that feature, but sadly I would not make a good candidate for testing and feedback.
Life is a bit too hectic to make a honest commitment to your project.
I will definitely be watching for the day you have something ready to go and will be very enthused to try it out.
What you have done is fantastic and I thank you for your efforts 👌

Thanks for your great app, now we can have everything under control.

Please why I can see the telemertry in this way? I cannot have the graph. Do I have to configure something in telemetry? Since on the right I can see the values, but not on the graph

LMU Stats Viewer 1.0.7 — community leaderboards (Sign in with Steam) and a race engineer that talks to you

Hi all,

LMU Stats Viewer is a free, open-source Windows app that reads Le Mans Ultimate's own files
(results, telemetry, setups) and turns them into records, analysis, live timing and overlays.
Version 1.0.7 is out.

Community leaderboards
- A new Leaderboards page shows your position among LMU Stats Viewer drivers on every
track × class you have driven: rank, top %, gap to the fastest and the lap-time distribution.
- It works even if you don't share anything.
- Lap times come from the game's result files — nobody types them in.
- Browse them online: https://lmu.cparfait.ovh

Sharing your laps (optional) — with "Sign in with Steam"
- You see exactly what is sent before enabling it, and nothing leaves until you click.
- Sharing requires signing in with Steam: Steam confirms who you are on its own page, no password
goes through the app, and the server only keeps a fingerprint of your Steam ID.
- One Steam account = one lap profile: no duplicates, and your laps follow you to another PC.
- Show your LMU driver name or stay anonymous; delete your data in one click, from any PC.

Race engineer
- Calls when you are closing on the car ahead (with the gap gained per lap), traffic ahead,
pit window, weather.
- Voice questions and "let me know" alerts ("…when ten minutes remain").
- Instant answers to factual questions without any AI, and it works even with the app minimised.

Also: coaching for Daytona, Laguna Seca and Long Beach, a more reliable driver-name detection on
first launch, and a round of fixes.

Feedback and bug reports are very welcome. The leaderboards are brand new, so the first shared
laps will literally set the first records.

LMU Stats Viewer 1.0.8 — clearer Leaderboards page

A small update focused on the Leaderboards page:
- your position, gap to the fastest and the record holder now show on every leaderboard, even with
only a few drivers;
- the "Where you stand" gauge runs from 1st (green) to last (red);
- below 20 drivers your place reads plainly ("2nd", "Last") instead of a percentage;
- tracks with several layouts (Bahrain, Le Mans, Fuji…) get one sub-section per layout.

Thanks to everyone who already shared their laps — 6 drivers and 600+ sessions on the first day.

LMU Stats Viewer 1.0.9 — now in Italian, richer community leaderboards

Hi everyone,

LMU Stats Viewer 1.0.9 is out. Quick reminder: it's a free Windows app that reads Le Mans Ultimate's result files to give you your stats, records, telemetry, a voice race engineer and an AI coach — all local, no account needed.

🇮🇹 Italian, 5th language
The app is now fully available in Italian: interface, race engineer voice callouts (two Italian neural voices, Paola and Riccardo, to download from Config → Audio / Voice), offline voice commands, and the AI coach, which answers in Italian.

🏆 Community leaderboards
- Every community leaderboard is listed, with the record and its holder, even on tracks you've never driven.
- The "My combos" button highlights yours.
- Click a track to open its all-classes leaderboard; click a class to filter it.
- A leaderboard's detail matches the website: your position, the full standings (sectors, version, date) and the lap-time spread.
- Your flag (the country from your in-game profile) and your Steam avatar appear next to your name — never in anonymous mode, and the avatar can be removed in one click.

🏎️ Multiclass races
Your position in your class now comes first (Live page, overlays, live AI coach), with the overall position next to it.

🔁 Filters kept
Each page keeps its filters, sort order and view when you leave and come back (reset when the app restarts).

🐛 Fixes
- AI coach: brake bias was read the wrong way round (inverted advice).
- ohne_speed level: track variants (Bahrain Paddock, Sebring School, Le Mans Mulsanne…) were compared to the main layout.
- Telemetry: flat traces on some laps, wrong S2/S3 sector times.
- Sessions page opened from a link: the car/layout filters were lost.

Update: offered automatically when you start the app.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback — it shaped a good part of this release. See you on track!
