LMU Stats Viewer - Web App

Hello everyone,

Passionate about simracing and a beginner in the field, I needed a simple tool to track my lap times on Le Mans Ultimate, since LMU doesn’t offer this feature yet.

After looking for a solution, I initially found nothing, then discovered there were some alternatives already. Despite this, I decided to develop my own tool to offer an accessible and easy-to-use application.

Thus was born LMU Stats Viewer, a local web application designed to simplify the analysis of your LMU logs.
Main features

  • Table of your best lap times by track and car
  • Complete history of your sessions
  • Filters and detailed statistics for each session
  • Available in English, French, Spanish and German

Installation and usage

Installation is simple:
  • The application installs on your computer, creates a shortcut on your desktop, and opens a configuration page.
  • You just need to enter your LMU username and the path to your logs.
  • Then you can access your personal stats via the link shown.

Why share this tool?

Although there are other more advanced tools, I wanted to share the result of my work with the community. LMU Stats Viewer will continue to evolve, especially by fixing bugs.

Please feel free to give me your feedback — what you like, what doesn’t work, or what could be made even simpler to use.

Thank you for reading, and see you on the track!

Let me know if you'd like me to adapt or polish it further!

Good morning @cparfait 🖐️ ,

even though there's been a very well-known tool for quite some time
that does exactly the same thing & probably even significantly more than yours,
(at least I assume so, I don't know yet) your achievement has to be acknowledged.

I always find it remarkable when someone creates a tool that meets their own needs.
Moreover, the design is absolutely in keeping with today's times

I just downloaded it ✅, but I'd rather test it another time & especially in peace & quiet 🔇

So again :
Really great 👍 work & whether many or few people end up using it shouldn't matter to you,
because the main thing is that you had fun creating it & that you continue to enjoy it
as you continue to develop it & adapt it to future content.

I'll definitely keep an eye 👁️ on it & look forward to actually checking it out one of these days 🤝

All the best to you & your loved ones, and now have a good night✌️

La page de config ne prend pas en compte la modification de chemin du répertoire results (j'ai installé LMU sur un autre disque que C).

It's not working for me. I'm getting no results. And each time I try and add the path to the results folder it changes back to the default.

EDIT Version 0.2 is working for me - thanks very much for this. :)

Version 0.3 following comments from @Pillot69

- added a filter to display only the best times since LMU v1, as the times are no longer the same
- differentiated between the 2023 and 2024/205 Peugeot 9x8

and fixed two bugs:

- cache issue that wasn't displaying new sessions
- configuration issue that wasn't saving the log path

Download version 0.3

I must say I like it very much  Maybe going to play a little with the html.... some parts (mainly header) imo can be a bit more compact. But all in all it reads clear, looks minimalistic just how I like it. Suggestion, it would be nice to have an online/offline column + filter. And cool to see that my incorrectly recorded fastest laps in online, are also shown purple here!

Hello @cparfait 🖐️ ,

... I know there are better tools ...

since English isn't my native language & probably not yours either,
I hope you didn't take my message as criticism, because it wasn't criticism, just big PRAISE 🙏
That I wanted to specifically mention to you 🤝

The fact that you share your work & that users even have the option to adapt the tool to their needs
is absolutely exceptional & deserves a big extra 👍COMPLIMENT👍

I'm not as familiar with the subject matter as you are,
so I can't really judge whether my following suggestion is even feasible & if it is,
how much work it would take.

My suggestion :

You could consider at least building an Android version of your tool.
Then (for example) when you meet up with friends in a cafe,
you could pull out your phone & show your progress & even compare it
if one of your friends also has the app or you can take a quiet look in bed
in the evening to see where you have made progress during the day 🧐

The app doesn't need internet access, it would be sufficient
if you could quickly update the database at home via USB or (local) Wi-Fi👍

❗To all who have concerns because one of the security vendors at (Virustotal.com) raises an alarm,
❗this is a "false positive" & the tool here can be downloaded & tried out (in its current) state without hesitation.

Oh as soon as I start my next LMU session, which might even be today,
I'll be the first to test your tool & I'm really looking forward to it.

All the best to you & your loved ones @cparfait & dear Sunday drivers have a nice Sunday ;)

@pcFiNCH85 Thx thx thx a lot ;)
I'm a beginner in Simracing and also in app developpement ;) I've the idea to make a hosted version online to be able to share and compare but i think i'll be able to do it only when the standalone will be finish.
But your idea is cool so i keep it ine mind ;) It's a good one ;)

Nice Sunday

Hello @cparfait 🖐️ ,

very nice to finally see you & your great tool here again (y)

I actually wanted to give you 2 suggestions for improvements hours ago.
It's all a matter of taste, of course, but maybe you'll like my ideas :

Under "Race Details\Race Laps" :

That you at least have the option (check the box or press the button)
to land at the very top & not at the point where you finished the race.

Group session results by color so that you can immediately see which sessions belong together
without having to compare the dates. So, if practice, qualifying & the race actually belong together,
then group them by color. It's enough if there are only two colors.

I wish you all the best & now I have to go to sleep - good night LMU-community 💤
