LMU Results Companion

I just ran some laps with the LMGT3 Corvette but the results listed the car as the Cadillac V-lmdh. The older 2023 Corvette GTE is listed correctly.
Can you upgrade to the latest version (1.2.0). Press the Install Latest Version button on the main page.

The December LMU upgrade changed the REST API which meant some cars weren't recognised correctly

Damage Overlay

A new damage overlay has been added. To activate, select Show Damage Widget in Settings page

The damage widget, if selected, always be displayed during a race. It represents the 8 areas where LMU records damage.

Clockwise from the top
  • Front
  • Front Right
  • Right
  • Rear Right
  • Rear (wing)
  • Rear Left
  • Left
  • Front Left

Damage Detection
When damage occurs, panels will represent the damage.

l7c1kaQ.png

  • Green (white border) - no damage
  • Orange (white border) - some damage
  • Red (white border) - heavy damage
  • Black (red border) - wheel or wing detached
  • Green/Orange/Red with red border (FL/FR/RL/RR only) - tyre is flat

Note, floor damage does not affect the representation of panel damage. You can get floor damage by riding kerbs.

The total damage is in unknown units. It would appear to be that somewhere between 100 and 500 takes 1 second to repair (it does not appear to be consistent). The last damage, is the size of the last impact.**

The damage figures are documented as being reset when repaired in the pits, but this does not appear to be the case (unless you Return To Garage)

** If anyone knows the relationship between the damage units in shared memory (rF2TrackedDamage.mAccumulatedImpactMagnitude in Extended region), please contact me

If you double click on that row in Circuits, it will take you to the session. Right click on the lap in question and select Mark lap as invalid. If you go back to Circuits and Rebuild it will exclude that lap.

I have an issue where is a Practice/Qualifying lap is abandoned after 1 or 2 sectors, the lap is recorded. i need to find a way of identifying these and excluding them

Don´t see any Fuel information, all is cero. Am I doing something wrong?.
Fuel information is calculated from your previous sessions. If you don't see any fuel usage from a car/track combination you have run, press Re-calculate on the Fuel page.

For the Widget, I don't think the fuel is being correctly notified for Practice sessions (I'm having a bit of an issue with Practice sessions in general) but it should be there for Quali/Race.

It is still isn't working, can you export diagnostics (instructions here) and I'll have a look

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but does this work with offline races and co-op?

It works fine with offline races. I'm not sure about co-op (I've never tested) - I suspect it will only show your stint.

If anyone fancies testing, run a co-op race and send me the LMU results file for the race (in<SteamLibrary>\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\Log\Results) both where you are the last driver and where you aren't - I'd be interested to see what LMU reports

Hi Doug, where are we at with the lap timing functions that we spoke about some weeks ago? Are they now more accurate/working fully?

Hi, v1.2.5 resolved a lot of the issues I was having with widgets generally. The Lap times widget is now behaving a lot better with LMU now - I need to sort out issues with Practice sessions where no data is coming but is appears to work with Quali/Race sessions ok.

Current lap doesn't always appear to catch an invalid lap as it happens so I need to investigate that. Also the race numbers don't make much sense for LMU as LMU doesn't have meaningful race numbers - I might change this for a 3 letter driver mnemonic

If you want to see full documentation, press F1 and go to Lap Times Overlay under

I love this app and appreciate the time & effort you put in. Thank you

The app seems to stop recording sessions periodically. Its happened a few times, without me changing any settings so I'm not sure what is happening. Deleting the files in the documents folder and uninstalling/reinstalling fixes the issue sometimes but it stopped recording on Saturday (1st) and haven't been able to get it sorted. Installed latest version but no change.

This is from a COOP race at Monza, this is not showing in the tool but single player races are. I have tried to manually import it with no joy.

Ps

If you can get this working it would be great, fellow team mates could share these files if desired. I am guessing this file will not provide that data unless it's exported from the save file?

That's really interesting - I wasn't expecting to see the whole race for both drivers. Can you export diagnostics (instructions here) so I can see how that session was processed.

Just to clarify everything I need is in the file
  • Ansgar did 183 laps
  • Swapped to Steve who did laps 184-212 and finished
Were you the first or second driver?
