LMU Results Companion 1.8.5 Released (here)​

• Fix Toyota 2026 liveries
• Fix past sessions where cars unrecognised
• Remove unused session columns (not relevant for LMU)
 
*** URGENT NOTICE ***
If you are using BitDefender/ALYac/Cynet/eScan anti-virus tools, they have started flagging RCEngine.dll (a core component of LMU-RC) as having the trojan IL:Trojan.MSILZilla.257200.

I do not believe this to be the case as there have been no included 3rd libraries since a "clean" version of the DLL. I am speaking to BitDefender who are analysing the DLL.

In the meantime, as an abundance of caution, I would suggest against using LMU-RC until I can confirm it is safe

*** URGENT NOTICE UPDATE ***

BitDefender have analysed RCEngine.dll and confirmed it is clean, so LMU-RC is safe to use. They will be updating their signatures, but in the meantime if you use BitDefender, unquarantine the file in question

Every lap I do in single player practice sessions is not being included in the circuits tab (regardless of whether verified complete is selected).

Can you highlight the session and Export Diagnostics and I'll have a look

Try 1.8.7. I think the error was introduced in 1.8.6. To fix sessions after you installed 1.8.6, select them, right click and choose Re-pair race / reload results file

Preferably yes. Some information is available from the LMU Results files which are loaded at start up, but to get the full benefit, it should be running while you are playing LMU

I am just curious, I took a big break from LMU around April and it use to show the VE and Fuel stats in Multiplayer games after the race but doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. Could it be a me thing or is LMU restricting some data?

With LMU update 1.3.3, they stopped including fuel usage for online races - the patch notes said something about stopping leaking too much information about competitors. I've raised a ticket with LMU to get with re-instated, at least for the player
 
Hi Doug, just a small request for when you get to releasing the next version: do you thing it might be possible to display VE to two decimal places rather than just one?

As far as I can see, it is already to 2 decimal places (laps/session/fuel page). Do you have a example abd I can have a look
 
Well, yes it is, but the second digit is always 0.

I see. The figures come from the results files which were only to 1dp. Given LMU have stopped reporting fuel/VE in online races, I'm going to have a look as resurrecting the figures from shared memory (although this does give odd results now and again)
 
Ah okay, I see now. I initially thought it went to 3 places, but actually looked properly to understand how the results file displays VE. Fair enough :)
