And if you can afford it and really want your VR mode, you could consider spending $30 to help the team stay in business. So when VR will be implemented?!
I’m a rf2 supporter and I have been playing only rf2 in the last 11 years.
I will buy this game when vr in implemented
it is so easy that MSAA is completely broken and there are no HUD. Clearly, S397 didn't have the luxury to adapt the updated garphics and interface to VR on release day.I don’t understand why Studio397 didn’t implement vr at the launch?! It seems very easy to make it working in vr .
I'm so in the no vr no buy camp but bought LMU day one because I really want this dev team and more to see there is a market in the sim category. And if you can afford it and really want your VR mode, you could consider spending $30 to help the team stay in business.
I think that's because if it was included at launch, then it would need to work well. Otherwise it becomes a point of criticism. So that would mean making the menus work, anti aliasing, HUD, rain, performance etc. Not so easy to implement all of that.I don’t understand why Studio397 didn’t implement vr at the launch?! Yeah, man, I love how sim racers spent thousands in their pedals, sim rig, and wheelbases, but when they need to spend $30 every three years to support the developers that make the software that would render their equipment useless otherwise, they don't want to. Not that I go to Starbucks, but LMU is the price of 4 cappuccinos. it's really hard to understand.I'm so in the no vr no buy camp but bought LMU day one because I really want this dev team and more to see there is a market in the sim category.
Isn't it obvious that people wouldn't want to pay for something they can't use? It's a pretty straightforward concept.it's really hard to understand
Well that's how it works, if no one buys a product it won't be manufactured.Isn't it obvious that people wouldn't want to pay for something they can't use? It's a pretty straightforward concept.
And if my 30€ is going to make or break S397/MSG, then it doesn't bode well for their prospects.
Thinks are not that simple.Yeah, man, I love how sim racers spent thousands in their pedals, sim rig, and wheelbases, but when they need to spend $30 every three years to support the developers that make the software that would render their equipment useless otherwise, they don't want to. Yes, works fine with Pico 4 and Virtual Desktop in OpenXR mode.hello.
away from my rig for another few days so any PICO headset users (Neo3Link or P4) that can confirm the hack work on those as well?
I expect it does but happy to hear back from people here if they had to do anything else than the method described in this thread.
thanks
thanks.you also tried to run it in steamvr with opencomposite?Yes, works fine with Pico 4 and Virtual Desktop in OpenXR mode.
No, I didn't try many options yet. VD set to VDXR, opencomposite switcher to opencomposite, openxr toolkit set to CAS 100% and resolution 3600x3600 worked very well on my system. In overcast weather it looks quite nice.thanks.you also tried to run it in steamvr with
Yes this is my experience, the sun light highlights the aliasing, overcast seems to reduce it. It just needs a touch of MSAA, can't wait for it to be enabled/fixed, it's going to look absolutely glorious. No, I didn't try many options yet. That's the trick: low light conditions to limit the amount of shimmering. No, I didn't try many options yet. VD set to VDXR, opencomposite switcher to opencomposite, openxr toolkit set to CAS 100% and resolution 3600x3600 worked very well on my system. In overcast weather it looks quite nice.
