With the partnership with high class racing and miccoletho, the top 6 may be going to the Asian le mans series to race both the wingless 9x8 and new van Wall, I do hope they return to endurance racing cause they have the passion and determination to return to endurance racing, I am hoping it happens, along with the hopes for a good success of racing for van Wall as well with their heavily updated vandervall 680

I somehow doubt it, when you have far better options such as Peugeot, Porsche Ferrari and others, it would be great to see it again is it hardly had a great time and was nowhere near as bad as people made out, but I would prefer to see a Lambo as the last version of that was on the pace in IMSA.

The Lambo's pace may have been due IMSA's more generous(or equitable) BOP. Remember, Cadillac was winning races in the States long before they began to have better results in WEC.
I would think finances may determine ALMS participation more than any one chassis performance. I suspect the fee paid to Issotta would be much lower than costs associated with running a Porsche.

Actually read a story today that suggests a team is very much considering the IF for ALMS. Yes it would be a cheap deal, but they really need a couple of good drivers along with the rich dentist to sort it out, it was not that rubbish. The Vanwall was, it was initially reliable, and had decent drivers.

IMSA BoP is seemingly better than WEC, however Porsche relentlessly winning would perhaps lead you to believe otherwise, I add the Penske aspect into that. Much like Ferrari in WEC, yes the car is good, but so are the team and I am convinced there are people at AF and maybe Penske who are finding subtle ways to circumnavigate BoP, just like people do in F1.
