Since the v1.3 update, whenever I go in a training session an error 404 appears and I can't see other cars on track neither safety car at the end of the pits

It seems that it only happens to me even if I uninstall and redownload thé game.

Besides that I can play the game but can't play online without seeing cars...

Not sure if this will help, but if it is during practice you don't see the other cars, you 'may' have the private practice set to on.
Look in the Event settings screen, same area you choose the car & track.
 
As soon as I start a race, all the cars on the grid repeatedly become invisible. This happens repeatedly during the race. Only the names floating above the cars are still visible. The cars behind me are also generally invisible, but become visible again once they overtake me. This all started with the latest update.
 
Its not just in online races, I even tried doing a race weekend and the AI cars are also invisible. I can see them in my read view mirror but thats it.
In settings i have set visible cars to 15 and before the update the cars we visible and there was no issue. It could be due the occulsion culling that was used to reduce the rendering the unnecessary cars in pits. Even the safety car is invisble in the pits.

I dont know if this is related, but I also experience invisible cars. I am on a triple screen setup and cars only appear on the outside monitors. As soon as the car “touches” the outside screen, it is being rendered on that screen, but Not on the middle one. Might this be a bug with the new occlusion culling?

When will there be a solution to avoid having invisible cars in the game?
AMD GPUs can only run in PRACTICE mode without AUTO.
I also wanted to buy the ELMS season pass, but I won't get it until you fix this serious problem. It's unusable for me.
The only solution is to sell the graphics cards and get NVIDIA.
Let's say it's a convenient thing to do after spending hundreds of euros on a new graphics card.

Have you tried setting Occlusion Culling to 2 in your settings.json file?

It's only a workaround, of course (devs are working on a fix), if you can still raise a ticket as above giving the problem description and your hardware, to be sure they know who it affects, that would be great.
 
But look, I think they don't care much about my ticket.
I still use a Radeon R9 290 X graphics card that's almost 20 years old.

Oh.

I'll admit when you spoke generally about AMD cards having issues, I wasn't expecting such an old one 😂
 
I imagine it'll get to 60 fps, but it'll still reach 60 fps.

Anyway,
It seems I found an RTX 2060 + Ryzen 5 3600 for €150 from a friend of mine.

With this upgrade kit, I should be able to get to Full HD without any problems.

It's the maximum I want to get to Full HD. I don't have a monitor or anything else to go beyond that, and I don't need it.
 
Before update the game was running smoothly for me. After the update a big noticeable issue is that the cars are invisble. I use an AMD RX590 GME.
The game is literally unplayable as now its just you hotlapping around the track with floating names all around and all eyes on the proximity radar. If anyone is facing this same issue please do report or if there is any possible solution please do tell me.

I love the game but this is running the experience as i have to purposely miss quali and start at the back just so i dont cause a crash in t1. You can see in the screenshot as well. Its a full online daily race grid with names visible only and nothing else in sight. Even the safety car in the pits is invisble for me. I have reviewed the settings multiple times and nothing is working on this. If possible please highlight the issue to LMU team. This all started after the Occulsion curling implementation in game.

Set occlusion culling to False in your settings.json in the meantime.
