I currently live in an apartment so that means my cable connection was shared with everyone else in the building. I tried one of the 5G wireless connections and for the first months had near identical service.
Then I swapped to another 5G wireless router.(still hardwired to the computer, just wireless to the apt.) We live close to a Cell Tower so the signal was. ok.
Then it started degrading. I would have to click several times to get a link to activate. Often an error message would pop up saying no secure connection. Clicking the same link again zipped me right through.
So I spent some time with the router location and improved the signal strength from 3/5 bars to 4/5 bars. Since then, the missing connections, seem to have been cured. One click and I'm there....but CONNECTING to games has suddenly gotten difficult. It's like I have NO BARS... Odd
