Haptics don’t work at all. You have the option in sound settings for haptics. I have my bass shakers selected and level is at 100 and it does absolutely nothing. Works with simhub haptics, but not the in game ones provided now.

Thanks for your report.

Please raise a ticket so this can be logged on the support system, it goes directly to the devs

Thanks.

SIMHUB just released an update to fix the muted haptics issue. Update 9.11.7
Here's the link from SIMHUB:

This fixed the issue for me.

Hi there

Same issue here on,

( Buttkicker Gamer 2 & NLR HF8)

I Have never had an issue earlier, but with the new update, they just dont work.
I tried to restart PC & unplugg both multiple times, & nothing happend.
Then I ended up trying AC, since i did play that earlier in the week, & there everyhing functions.

What has happend with this new update? Is this a known issue?
The effects in the game used to be sublime, but no driving without effects, just dont feel the same.

Also installed the new simhub update, but does not make a difference.

EDIT: After reinstalling the update & restarting the PC, it now works! 😎👍

Please help

Try reinstalling the update, then restart your pc, and hopefully it will work.

Make sure to enable plugins in LMU gameplay settings, and select your haptics device from the audio settings.
Isn't that update for Simhub? How will it fix the in-game haptic effects since LMU just added that functionality with the latest update?

I reached to LMU on their Discord channel, they confirmed that it's a known issue and they will release a hot fix soon.

I also checked SIMHUB website and they release another update to fix the muted haptics issue as mentioned in their changelog.

Updating SIMHUB to 9.11.7 fixed the issue for me. If it didn't work for you, then you might need to wait until LMU release their next update.

I think maybe talking about different things here. The SimHub situation is as shikimov describes, the in-game support is the known issue on the game side.

Yes, People are confusing the issue.

If you were using simhub bass shakers, they were muted in the simhub update. Simhub released an update that fixed the issue.

1.3 added native haptics (bass shakers) that lets you choose the audio device and intensity for the effects. (Think LFE in iracing) This is not working.

Two separate things . You'd run one or the other, not both.

OK, thanks for bringing this up. I was just wondering why it did nothing.

add-on question:
Which channel(s) does the haptic output go to?
(when I select a 5.1 sound device, or a stereo device, or...)

I dont know. I have two soundcards. One for sound, one for shakers.

Which channel S397 is using wasn't listed or explained. I only have the option to choose which audio device to use.

Thank you for bringing this up! I was confused about the issue, too.

Got it, it'sclear gor me now. Thanks!

And sorry about any confusion I caused to others while trying to explain what worked for me.

tried it yesterday, haptic doenst work via SIMHUB
Check that your output is listed in simhub. They put out another update that fixed their issue.

Note that this thread is about the built in haptics in LMU, not simhub.

Ya thx, i just saw the new update, i'll try it tonight. I'M sure it will be ok

Yes, seems like there was some confusion about which haptics were not working. Simhub is currently working for me, but the LMU in-game haptics feature is not working currently.

So just tried using the in-game haptic feedback after the patch update, and it seems to be working now, actually really liking the feeling with the in-game haptics!

Yes, they fixed it with 1.3.1.

I actually like the in-game haptics as well.
